The fifth episode of ABC’s Once Upon a Time season six expands on the storyline involving Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz), Princess Jasmine (Karen David), and Jafar (Oded Fehr). Airing on October 23, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT, ‘Street Rats’ also finds our Storybrooke heroes learning more about Emma’s shaking hand and visions. Season six episode five was directed by Norman Buckley from a script by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.
The Once Upon a Time cast includes Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Rebecca Mader as the Wicked Witch/Zelena, and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold. Raphael Sbarge as Archie/Jiminy Cricket, Beverly Elliott as Granny, Gabe Khouth as Sneezy, Jordan Ashley Olson as Oracle, Cedric De Souza as Sultan, and Kate Dion-Richard as Goldilocks guest star.
The ‘Street Rats’ Plot: In a flashback to Agrabah, Princess Jasmine recruits Aladdin to help her recover a secret weapon capable of breaking Jafar’s hold on the Sultan and saving the city from ruin. Their quest takes them to the Cave of Wonders where Aladdin’s fate is revealed. In Storybrooke, the Evil Queen tricks Hook and the Charmings and forces Emma to reveal her secret in an effort to divide the family. While the Evil Queen pampers Zelena, elsewhere in town, Regina and our heroes scramble to learn what became of Aladdin.
