The comedy series The Exes will be returning to TV Land for season #2 this coming June, so says Larry W. Jones, president, TV Land. The Exes, starring Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche, Kelly Stables, and Kristen Johnston, averaged 1.5 million total viewers over its first season and earned a .65 Adults 25-54 rating and a .81 among Women 25-54.

Announcing the renewal, Jones stated, “The Exes has proven to be an excellent addition to our primetime line-up. This cast of seasoned comedy performers and a writing team led by Mark Riesman are what keep our viewers coming back week after week. We can’t wait to get started on the second season.”

The Plot:

The Exes revolves around divorce attorney Holly (Johnston) as she introduces her newly-single client Stuart (Basche) to his new roommates – ladies’ man Phil (Faison) and homebody Haskell (Knight), who share an apartment which Holly owns. Things start off a little shaky when the two bachelors have reservations about living with clingy Stuart, but Holly is right across the hall to help them avoid any catastrophes. To top it all off, Holly’s assistant, Eden (Stables), doesn’t exactly let her professionalism get in the way of prying into her boss’s personal life.
