Season four of NBC’s The Sing-Off drew to a close after averaging 6.2 million viewers over its limited seven episode run. Hosted by Nick Lachey with Jewel, Ben Folds (Ben Folds Five), and Shawn Stockman ((Boyz II Men) as judges, the a capella musical competition finished up on December 23, 2013 with a two-hour episode which found Minnesota natives Chris Rupp, Tim Foust, Austin Brown, Rob Lunquist and Adam Rupp of Home Free crowned the season four winners.
 
The Country group already have a recording deal with Columbia Records and will be releasing their first album, Crazy Life, on January 14, 2014 (digitally). Among the tracks on Home Free’s debut album are a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” and other songs they performed on The Sing-Off, as well as original songs. Along with releasing their album, the group will be joining other The Sing-Off contestants on a 2014 tour kicking off in Verona, New York on February 19th.

The program showcases the country’s top a cappella groups performing popular songs in ways that viewers have never heard them before. The Sing-Off has no lip-synching, back-up bands or safety net. They are singing with dreams of walking away with the ultimate prize — a recording contract and $100,000.
