‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ Offers a Trip to Hong Kong for One Lucky Fan

Imagine Dragons contributes to Transformers: Age of Extinction

Imagine Dragons has contributed a song, “Battle Cry,” to Transformers: Age of Extinction, penning the tune following an early footage screening of the fourth Transformers movie. According to director Michael Bay, the song will be featured at critical points in the action movie, and the group also worked with composer Steve Jablonsky throughout the scoring process.

“We’re incredibly lucky that Dan, Wayne, Ben and Daniel were available to work with us,” said director Bay. “I remember being drawn to the emotion of ‘Demons’ and ‘Radioactive’ the first time I heard those songs, and I knew I wanted that same energy and heart for this movie. They’ve created a really epic, otherworldly sound for ‘Battle Cry.’”

Imagine Dragons will be heading to Hong Kong on June 19, 2014 to attend the Transformers: Age of Extinction world premiere and to perform “Battle Cry” live. And in support of the world premiere, Paramount Pictures is holding a contest with the winner given a trip for two to the Hong Kong premiere (the contest’s open to US residents 18 and older). To enter, tweet #TransformersPremiere by May 30, 2014 at 12pm PT. For more details, visit http://www.transformersmovie.com/TwitterSweeps/OfficialRules.pdf.
