‘Trinkets’ Confirms Season 2 With a Short Teaser Trailer

The 30 second teaser video announcing season two of Trinkets assures fans of the popular, binge-worthy series that their questions will be answered. Unfortunately, it also confirms the second season will be the series’ final season.

Netflix announced Trinkets‘ story will conclude with season two. New showrunner Sarah Goldfinger (Charmed) will take over to guide the final season.

The first season debuted on June 14, 2019 and consisted of 10 30-minute episodes. Season two will also be made up of 10 episodes, per Netflix. Expect to see the second and final season arrive in 2020.

Trinkets is based on the young adult novel by Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith and has Smith involved as an executive producer. Shelley Zimmerman, Brin Lukens, and Rebecca Glasho also executive produce along with writers Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer. The drama’s produced by AwesomenessTV.

The series stars Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool, The Exorcist), Kiana Madeira (The Flash), Quintessa Swindell (Euphoria), Odiseas Georgiadis (The Perfect Date), Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why), and Brandon Butler (13 Reasons Why). Larry Sullivan (Big Little Lies), October Moore (Baskets), Larisa Oleynik (Mad Men), Joy Bryant (Parenthood), Linden Ashby (Teen Wolf), and Kat Cunning (The Deuce) also star in the drama.

The Plot:

“When three teenage girls from different corners of the high school cafeteria find themselves in the same mandated Shoplifter’s Anonymous meeting, an unlikely friendship forms. Elodie (Hildebrand) — the grieving misfit, Moe (Madeira) — the mysterious outsider, and Tabitha (Swindell) — the imperfect picture of perfection, will find strength in each other as they negotiate the complicated dilemma of trying to fit in while longing to break out.”
