Are you ready for some sexy vampire action? Or, maybe werewolves are more your thing. Or, perhaps it’s shape-shifting Sam Merlotte who does it for you. Actually, it doesn’t matter what/who it is that makes HBO’s True Blood a must-see in your house. HBO’s just announced their bringing back all the supernatural creatures and human residents of Bon Temps on Sunday, June 10th at 9pm when True Blood returns for season five. Returning cast members on the popular series include Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten, Deborah Ann Woll, Nelsan Ellis, Joe Manganiello, Todd Lowe, Kristin Bauer, and Carrie Preston.
The 12 episode fifth season of True Blood will be followed by the new series, The Newsroom, beginning on June 24th at 10pm. The Newsroom stars Jeff Daniels as a cable news anchor, Emily Mortimer as his executive producer, and John Gallagher, Jr., Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Dev Patel, and Olivia Munn as the newsroom staff. Aaron Sorkin created The Newsroom and serves as executive producer.
