Can you believe there are just seven new episodes left before The CW’s The Vampire Diaries comes to the end after an eight season run? Episode 10 titled ‘Nostalgia’s a Bitch’ is set to air on January 27, 2017 and the big questions we hope it addresses further are whether Stefan can still be redeemed and what’s going on in Damon’s head. Kellie Cyrus directed episode 10 from a script by Brett Matthews.

The cast of season eight includes Paul Wesley as Stefan, Ian Somerhalder as Damon, Kat Graham as Bonnie, Michael Malarkey as Enzo, Candice King as Caroline, Matt Davis as Alaric, and Zach Roerig as Matt.

The “Nostalgia’s a Bitch” Plot: THE RINGING OF THE BELL – Sybil (guest star Nathalie Kelley) enacts revenge on Damon (Somerhalder) by putting him in a catatonic state. Caroline (King) and Bonnie (Graham) enter Damon’s mind and run into familiar faces from the past, only to discover Stefan (Wesley) is the key to Damon’s fate. It’s a race against time for the bell as both Sybil and her sister Seline (Kristen Gutoskie) jockey for its control.
