‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Episode 8 Preview: We Have History Together

Ian Somerhalder in ‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 8 episode 8.

The CW’s The Vampire Diaries will continue its eighth and final season with episode eight airing on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT. The show took a break for the winter holidays and returns with the final new episodes as it heads toward, hopefully, a satisfying conclusion for Damon and Stefan Salvatore. Episode eight is titled ‘We Have History Together’ and was directed by Ian Somerhalder from a script by Matthew D’Ambrosio.

The cast of season eight includes Paul Wesley as Stefan, Ian Somerhalder as Damon, Kat Graham as Bonnie, Michael Malarkey as Enzo, Candice King as Caroline, Matt Davis as Alaric, and Zach Roerig as Matt.

‘We Have History Together’ Plot: CLASS IS IN SESSION — Stefan (Wesley) and Damon (Somerhalder) attend an anger management support group looking for their next victim. Sybil (guest star Nathalie Kelley) is still alive and teaching a group of high school students who she’ll later use as leverage to get Caroline (King) to locate a historical artifact that can be used against her. Meanwhile, Stefan and Damon continue their commitment to Cade as they test the morals of a young doctor, Tara (guest star Alexandra Chando).
