VNV Nation has added another leg to their North American tour kicking off on February 15, 2012 in Nashville. German electronic dance outfit Straftanz will be joining VNV Nation on the tour, which winds up in Arizona on March 17th. Touring in support of their eighth album Automatic, the group promised each set will last at least two hours (so ticket buyers get their full money’s worth).
Automatic hit the #8 on Media Control’s Overall Album Chart (the German equivalent of Billboard) and was #1 on the Alternative Album Chart for eight consecutive weeks. In addition, it hit #1 on the Alternative Digital Chart, with the album’s first released track, “Control,” also residing at #9 on the Alternative Singles/Electronic Chart for eight consecutive weeks.
