Well that didn’t take long, did it? CBS has pulled the comedy series We Are Men starring Jerry O’Connell, Kal Penn, and Tony Shalhoub off of their primetime schedule.

Monday nights haven’t exactly been a ratings bonanza for CBS this season, but the network’s hoping to right the ship by cancelling the scheduled episodes of We Are Men after just two weeks on air. CBS issued this update as to what viewers can expect on Monday nights beginning next week:

Effective Oct. 14, 2 Broke Girls moves to 8:30 PM, replacing We Are Men, which is no longer on the schedule. Rebroadcasts of The Big Bang Theory will air at 9:00 PM for the next two weeks.

Mike & Molly returns to the schedule with its fourth season premiere, Monday, Nov. 4 (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT).

There’s no word yet on the fate of the floundering 10pm drama, Hostages, starring Dylan McDermott and Toni Collette.

We Are Men is the second new series to get yanked after just a few episodes, following in the footsteps of ABC’s Lucky 7.
