‘Expedition Unknown’ Season 15 Premiere Focuses on Hitler’s Long-Range Plane

Discovery Channel’s Expedition Unknown returns for season 15 with an episode that features host Josh Gates digging for the truth about Hitler’s Amerikabomber. The new season kicks off on June 18, 2025, with new episodes airing on Wednesdays at 9pm ET/PT.

“I’ve never been more excited to share a new season of Expedition Unknown,” said Josh Gates. “Every year, we try to set a new bar for adventure, archaeology, and action, and I think these may be our biggest expeditions yet.”

Discovery Channel offers this description of the new season:

“Gates’ intrepid curiosity and passion for epic exploration lead him on a truth-seeking quest spanning five continents. Gates sets sail across the Mediterranean to unravel the mystery of ancient shipwrecks consumed by Greece’s own Bermuda Triangle. In Turkey, he unlocks the secrets and symbols of the oldest manmade structures in the world at Göbekli Tepe. And deep in the Pacific, he embarks on a groundbreaking mission to rediscover the lost plane of an American hero from World War II.

In the season premiere, Gates uncovers the truth about Adolf Hitler’s terrifying Amerikabomber, a long-range airplane designed to bring the terror of the Third Reich to the United States and obliterate New York City. Unearthing still-sealed Nazi tunnels and long-lost top-secret weapons factories in Poland, he’ll take viewers into a subterranean facility that may have been used to manufacture Hitler’s dream killing machine.

Later this season, Gates embarks on a treacherous safari in the savannahs of Kenya to investigate the Ghost and the Darkness, the legendary man-eating lions who killed as many as 135 railroad workers in 1898. Then, it’s on to the Wild West, where Gates will investigate the mysteries of renowned hunter and showman Buffalo Bill Cody and the conspiracy surrounding the location of his final resting place. In the remote swamps of South Carolina, the search is on for the lost treasure of Anne Bonny, the notorious female pirate who escaped a death sentence before vanishing from history.”

The Buffalo Bills will finally be showcased on HBO and NFL Films’ Hard Knocks: Training Camp. The documentary series will turn its cameras on the Bills’ during their 2025 NFL season training camp, with the new season set to premiere on August 5, 2025. New episodes of the five-episode season will air on Tuesdays at 9pm ET/PT. NFL Films also announced the upcoming edition of Hard Knocks: In Season will spotlight the NFC East.

“We are thrilled to provide Hard Knocks fans a summer with the Bills and winter with the Cowboys, Giants, Commanders, and Eagles in the first year of our exciting new deal with NFL Films,” stated Nancy Abraham and Lisa Heller, co-executive vice presidents HBO Documentary and Family Programming, and Bentley Weiner, senior vice president HBO Sports Documentaries. “There will be no shortage of star power.”

The NFL changed the rules prior to this season’s Hard Knocks, with teams now able to participate as long as they haven’t in the previous eight years. Playoff appearances no longer matter. Teams with a first-year head coach remain ineligible to participate.

“There aren’t many shows in history that have had a successful 25-year run,” said Ross Ketover, NFL Films senior executive. “We are thrilled that the partnership between NFL Films and HBO – which has captivated football fans for so long – will continue years into the future.”

Liev Schreiber will return to narrate both series.

‘Caught Stealing’ Trailer: Austin Butler Goes on the Run, Thanks to a Cat

Catsitting a friend’s feline leads to major trouble in Sony Pictures’ Caught Stealing. The trailer shows Austin Butler reluctantly watching Matt Smith’s furry BFF, getting beat up by thugs and then running for his life. The lesson? Just say no to watching a friend’s cat.

Joining Austin Butler and Matt Smith in the crime caper are Zoë Kravitz, Regina King, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D’Onofrio, Griffin Dunne, Benito A. Martínez Ocasio (Bad Bunny), and Carol Kane.

“Hank Thompson (Butler) was a high-school baseball phenom who can’t play anymore, but everything else is going okay. He’s got a great girl (Kravitz), tends bar at a New York dive, and his favorite team is making an underdog run at the pennant,” reads Sony Pictures’ synopsis. “When his punk-rock neighbor Russ (Smith) asks him to take care of his cat for a few days, Hank suddenly finds himself caught in the middle of a motley crew of threatening gangsters. They all want a piece of him; the problem is he has no idea why. As Hank attempts to evade their ever-tightening grip, he’s got to use all his hustle to stay alive long enough to find out…”

Caught Stealing opens in theaters on August 29, 2025.

Oscar nominee Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan) directs from a screenplay by Charlie Huston, who adapted his book for the screen. Producers include Aronofsky, Jeremy Dawson, Dylan Golden, and Ari Handel. Huston and Ann Ruark serve as executive producers.

‘The Cleaning Lady’ Season 4 Episode 10 Photos, Promo and Air Date

Fox’s The Cleaning Lady season four episode 10 will, hopefully, be a little less stressful for Thony. Episode nine found her performing surgery on a woman with a bomb implanted in her chest, thanks to Ramona. It also confirmed a love triangle has developed between Jorge, Thony, and Dr. Sean Dupont. The teaser for episode 10 indicates all of that may be put on the back burner when Jorge’s arrested.

Season four episode 10, “Queen for a Day,” will air on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 8pm ET/PT.

“Queen for a Day” Plot: Thony must find a way to protect her freedom and family as she finds herself surrounded by chaos. When Jorge catches wind of Ramona’s plans, he’s willing to do anything to stop her. With the future of Sin Cara hanging in the balance, unexpected foes cause dire consequences. As Fiona finds new security, a fatal decision changes her relationship with Thony forever.

Elodie Yung leads the cast as Thony, Santiago Cabrera plays Jorge, Kate del Castillo is Ramona Sanchez, Martha Millan plays Fiona, Faith Bryant is Jaz, and Sean Lew plays Chris. Recurring season four guest stars include Danny Pardo as El Don, Daniel Bonjour as Dr. Sean Dupont, Alain Uy as Feng, and Brian Norris as Cowboy Hat.

The Cleaning Lady Description, Courtesy of Fox:

The Cleaning Lady returns for an action-packed season four, with the series’ beloved characters in ever-changing and increasingly dangerous situations. After three seasons of being a pawn caught between the FBI and the world of organized crime, THONY (Yung) makes the bold decision to take charge of her own destiny — by exchanging her cleaning lady uniform for the scrubs of a surgical intern at a small community hospital.

Thony’s return to the medical career she sacrificed for her son, LUCA (Sanchez), opens a new path to citizenship for them both. But to make this happen, she must continue her service to the Sin Cara cartel — not as a cleaning lady, but as the new mob doctor — bringing her ever closer to JORGE (Cabrera), the cartel’s brooding new leader. Under the watchful eye of the hospital’s brusque yet handsome chief resident, DR. SEAN DUPONT (Bonjour), Thony straddles the line between two worlds until they inevitably come crashing into each other.

Newly enthroned as the head of Sin Cara, Jorge has ambitious plans to take the cartel in a surprising, yet lucrative, direction. He’s invested Sin Cara’s assets into a rare earth mine worth billions. It’s easy, legitimate money that will result in generational wealth for them all. But the old dogs of the cartel are unwilling to learn new tricks from their upstart leader, which results in a fracture within the organization. Flanked by his lieutenants, the veteran EL DON (Pardo) and quirky newcomer FENG (Uy), Jorge must fend off a mutiny within Sin Cara, which threatens the lives of everyone he loves.

Even from within the walls of a maximum-security prison, former head of Sin Cara, RAMONA (Del Castillo) remains a threat. She continues to exert influence through her unpredictable proxy on the outside, the loner only known as COWBOY HAT (Norris). But she’s vulnerable on the inside. When a tough prison gang puts Ramona in their crosshairs, she must dig deep into her devious bag of tricks to find a way to survive.

Meanwhile, FIONA (Millan) struggles to keep her cleaning business afloat, leading her into the world of identity theft. CHRIS (Lew) learns the painful truth about first love and channels his raw emotions into an unexplored passion — dance. And JAZ (Bryant) deals with the difficulties of being the perfect child in a decidedly imperfect family.

The Cleaning Lady continues its exploration of the experience of undocumented immigrants and the hurdles they face in this country. The series tells their stories of resourcefulness in the face of institutional adversity and the sacrifices they must make to achieve their American dream.

“Performed by a predominantly Polynesian cast led by Momoa, Chief of War follows the epic and unprecedented telling of the unification and colonization of Hawai’i at the turn of the 18th century,” reads Apple TV+’s synopsis of the epic historical drama. Doug Jung guides the series, described as a passion project of Momoa and co-creator Thomas Pa’a Sibbett’s, as showrunner. Executive producers include Jung, Momoa, Sibbett, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Tracey Cook, Justin Chon, and Brian Mendoza. Anders Engstrom, Jim Rowe, Molly Allen, Francis Lawrence and Tim Van Patten also serve as executive producers.

Jason Momoa directed the season finale, and Justin Chon directed the first two episodes. Oscar winner Hans Zimmer wrote the series’ theme music and also co-produced the score with composer James Everingham.

‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Final Trailer Teases an Epic River Scene

The final Jurassic World Rebirth trailer serves up a clip of one of the franchise’s most anticipated scenes: a T-Rex stalking its human prey on a raft down a river. That, plus the tone leaning more toward horror than comedy, makes Rebirth a true breath of fresh air in the aging franchise.

Oscar nominee Scarlett Johansson stars as Zora Bennett, Critics Choice winner Jonathan Bailey plays Dr. Henry Loomis, two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali stars as Duncan Kincaid, Emmy nominee Rupert Friend is Martin Krebs, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo plays Reuben Delgado. The cast also includes Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein.

Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) directed from a screenplay by Jurassic Park‘s David Koepp. Universal Pictures is releasing Jurassic World Rebirth in theaters on July 2, 2025.

Universal Pictures offers this description of the latest entry in the dinosaur franchise:

“Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air within that tropical biosphere hold, in their DNA, the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind.

Johansson plays skilled covert operations expert Zora Bennett, contracted to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure the genetic material. When Zora’s operation intersects with a civilian family whose boating expedition was capsized by marauding aquatic dinos, they all find themselves stranded on a forbidden island that had once housed an undisclosed research facility for Jurassic Park. There, in a terrain populated by dinosaurs of vastly different species, they come face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery that has been hidden from the world for decades.”

‘The Mortician’ Docuseries: A Disturbing Story of Greed and Fraud

HBO’s trailer for the documentary series The Mortician teases the incredibly disturbing story of a funeral home director who betrayed his customers’ trust and whose deceit ultimately led to changes in the industry. The three-part documentary series will premiere on June 1, 2025 at 9pm ET/PT. Episode two airs on June 8, followed by episode three on June 15.

Joshua Rofé (Lorena, Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed) directed and executive produced the docuseries, with Steven J. Berger, Jonah Hill, Matt Dines, Nancy Abraham, Lisa Heller, and Tina Nguyen also serving as executive producers.

“A darkly gripping series, The Mortician chronicles a trusted family-owned funeral home that hid behind a façade of decency and propriety to take advantage of loved ones at their most vulnerable moments,” reads HBO’s synopsis. “In the early 1980s, David Sconce, scion of the Lamb family, took over the family business and sought to exploit the deceased in numerous ways to expand their earnings. Driven by profit, the Lamb Funeral Home in Pasadena, California engaged in years of morally questionable and inhumane practices.

Featuring an exclusive interview with Sconce, newly released from prison, the series examines the lucrative and ubiquitous multibillion-dollar mortuary industry and illuminates what can happen behind closed doors, away from public scrutiny. With emotional interviews with families of the victims of the Lamb Funeral Home and revelations from former employees, The Mortician unravels a dark, troubling story that involved mass cremations and stealing from the dead in a multitude of macabre ways.

The scandal shook Southern California and as members of the Lamb family stood trial, the funeral industry took heed, bringing about tighter regulations and allowing for greater transparency into the business of death. A testimony from Sconce, who tells his side of the story with animated energy and candor, anchors the series.”

‘The Bear’ Season 4 Trailer: Chaos Still Reigns

The trailer for season four of FX’s The Bear makes the case for the series to be reclassified as a drama by awards groups. The trailer shows the restaurant is still struggling to settle on an identity, with at least one food critic noting the offerings are substantially different on each visit.

Jeremy Allen White returns to lead the cast as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto. Ebon Moss-Bachrach stars as Richard “Richie” Jerimovich and Ayo Edebiri returns as Sydney Adamu. Abby Elliott plays Sugar, Lionel Boyce is Marcus, Liza Colón-Zayas is Tina, and Matty Matheson is Neil. Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon return in their recurring roles as Uncle Jimmy and Claire, respectively.

“Season four of FX’s The Bear finds Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto, Sydney Adamu, and Richard ‘Richie’ Jerimovich pushing forward, determined not only to survive but also to take The Bear to the next level,” reads FX’s synopsis. “With new challenges around every corner, the team must adapt, adjust, and overcome. This season, the pursuit of excellence isn’t just about getting better—it’s about deciding what’s worth holding on to.”

Christopher Storer created the award-winning series and executive produces. Additional executive producers include Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson, Hiro Murai, and Rene Gube.

The Bear premieres on June 25, 2025 on Hulu.

Coming off the series’ most-watched season to date, Paramount+ with Showtime has renewed Yellowjackets for a fourth season. There’s no word yet on when filming will get underway, or a target premiere date.

Yellowjackets has become a cultural juggernaut; with season three shattering all previous records, we are thrilled to announce its renewal for a season four on Paramount+,” stated Chris McCarthy, Co-CEO of Paramount Global and President of SHOWTIME/MTV Entertainment Studios. “Ashley and Bart have masterfully crafted an utterly singular, genre-defying phenomenon: a perfect alchemy of psychological horror, survival thriller, and coming-of-age drama that continues to captivate audiences worldwide, brought to life by our extraordinarily talented and beloved cast.”

The season three finale was the most streamed episode of the series. The third season starred Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Lauren Ambrose, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, and Simone Kessell. Elijah Wood appeared in a recurring role, and Hilary Swank, Joel McHale and Ashley Sutton guest starred.

Yellowjackets is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls’ soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. Equal parts survival epic, psychological horror and coming-of-age drama, the series chronicles their descent from a complicated yet thriving team to savage clans while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later,” reads Paramount+’s synopsis. “It proves that the past is never really the past and what began in the wilderness is far from over.”

Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson created the series and serve as showrunners with Jonathan Lisco.
