‘The Cleaning Lady’ Season 4 Episode 2 Photos, “Le Medecin” Promo and Air Date

Fox’s The Cleaning Lady season four kicked off with the gruesome death of Agent Katherine Russo (Liza Weil) and ended with Thony taking on a new job as the cartel’s go-to doctor. The season four episode two plot description indicates she’s just beginning to understand what that actually means. “Le Medecin” airs on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 8pm ET/PT.

Elodie Yung leads the cast as Thony, Santiago Cabrera plays Jorge, Kate del Castillo is Ramona Sanchez, Martha Millan plays Fiona, Faith Bryant is Jaz, and Sean Lew plays Chris. Recurring season four guest stars include Danny Pardo as El Don, Daniel Bonjour as Dr. Sean Dupont, Alain Uy as Feng, and Brian Norris as Cowboy Hat.

“Le Medecin” Plot: As Thony starts her new position within the cartel, she reckons with what it means to be a good employee or a good person. Fiona deals with a difficult client that helps Chris connect with an old friend. Jorge navigates obstacles in his quest for legitimacy. Finding himself between a rock and a hard place, he turns to Ramona for help.

The Cleaning Lady Description, Courtesy of Fox:

The Cleaning Lady returns for an action-packed season four, with the series’ beloved characters in ever-changing and increasingly dangerous situations. After three seasons of being a pawn caught between the FBI and the world of organized crime, THONY (Yung) makes the bold decision to take charge of her own destiny — by exchanging her cleaning lady uniform for the scrubs of a surgical intern at a small community hospital.

Thony’s return to the medical career she sacrificed for her son, LUCA (Sanchez), opens a new path to citizenship for them both. But to make this happen, she must continue her service to the Sin Cara cartel — not as a cleaning lady, but as the new mob doctor — bringing her ever closer to JORGE (Cabrera), the cartel’s brooding new leader. Under the watchful eye of the hospital’s brusque yet handsome chief resident, DR. SEAN DUPONT (Bonjour), Thony straddles the line between two worlds until they inevitably come crashing into each other.

Newly enthroned as the head of Sin Cara, Jorge has ambitious plans to take the cartel in a surprising, yet lucrative, direction. He’s invested Sin Cara’s assets into a rare earth mine worth billions. It’s easy, legitimate money that will result in generational wealth for them all. But the old dogs of the cartel are unwilling to learn new tricks from their upstart leader, which results in a fracture within the organization. Flanked by his lieutenants, the veteran EL DON (Pardo) and quirky newcomer FENG (Uy), Jorge must fend off a mutiny within Sin Cara, which threatens the lives of everyone he loves.

Even from within the walls of a maximum-security prison, former head of Sin Cara, RAMONA (Del Castillo) remains a threat. She continues to exert influence through her unpredictable proxy on the outside, the loner only known as COWBOY HAT (Norris). But she’s vulnerable on the inside. When a tough prison gang puts Ramona in their crosshairs, she must dig deep into her devious bag of tricks to find a way to survive.

Meanwhile, FIONA (Millan) struggles to keep her cleaning business afloat, leading her into the world of identity theft. CHRIS (Lew) learns the painful truth about first love and channels his raw emotions into an unexplored passion — dance. And JAZ (Bryant) deals with the difficulties of being the perfect child in a decidedly imperfect family.

The Cleaning Lady continues its exploration of the experience of undocumented immigrants and the hurdles they face in this country. The series tells their stories of resourcefulness in the face of institutional adversity and the sacrifices they must make to achieve their American dream.

The Equalizer Synopsis, Courtesy of CBS

The Equalizer is a reimagining of the classic series starring Academy Award nominee and multi-hyphenate Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills as a former CIA operative to help those with nowhere else to turn. McCall presents to most as an average single mom who is quietly raising her teenage daughter. But to a trusted few, she is The Equalizer—an anonymous guardian angel and defender of the downtrodden, who’s also dogged in her pursuit of personal redemption.

Robyn’s clandestine work and her personal life often collide when her smart and observant daughter, Delilah, and her aunt Vi, who lives with Robyn to help her balance life as a working mother, struggle to conceal her vigilante career. While Robyn worries about the mental and emotional toll her work exacts on her family, she is joined in her pursuit of justice by Melody “Mel” Bayani, an edgy bar owner and sniper from Robyn’s past who recently quit the Equalizer team to recover from post-traumatic stress disorder, and Harry Keshegian, a paranoid and brilliant white-hat hacker married to Mel.

As Robyn aids the oppressed and exploited, she sometimes works with Marcus Dante, an NYPD detective and trusted friend who respects the need for Robyn’s type of justice even as he often questions her methods.”

‘Audrey’s Children’ Review: A Powerful Tribute to a Medical Trailblazer

Audrey's Children star Natalie Dormer
Natalie Dormer in ‘Audrey’s Children’ (Photo Courtesy of Blue Harbor Entertainment)

Dr. Audrey Evans was a trailblazer in the field of pediatric cancer and a hero to countless children and their families. In an era when women weren’t even allowed financial autonomy, Dr. Evans forced her male colleagues to reconsider their approach to the way pediatric cancer patients were treated. Her legacy lives on in the Ronald McDonald Houses she helped establish and in the 80% survival rate for children with neuroblastoma. And now, thanks to Audrey’s Children, her story gets the spotlight it has long deserved.

Set in 1969, Audrey’s Children charts the extraordinary efforts of Dr. Evans to take a more aggressive approach to treating cancer patients. Dr. C. Everett Koop (Clancy Brown), who would become Surgeon General, makes a controversial decision to hire her. Doing so, he puts a tiny crack in the glass ceiling, which Audrey takes a sledgehammer to as the first female Chief of Pediatric Oncology at the prestigious Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Of course, her appointment rankles the group of all-male department heads who mistakenly believe she’s out of her league. However, Audrey, impressively played by Game of ThronesNatalie Dormer, quickly proves she’s not one to be pushed around. She fearlessly advocates for new treatment methods for her young patients, whom she affectionately refers to as “her children.”

Audrey’s passionate about her children and their families, and she takes an unorthodox approach to obtaining funding for her research. All but two of her male peers (Jimmi Simpson as Dr. Dan D’Angio and Brandon Micheal Hall as Dr. Brian Faust—a fictional character—throw up roadblocks and refuse to treat her as an equal. But Audrey’s a warrior. She refuses to back down against bureaucracy, pervasive misogyny, or the rigid mindsets of doctors who are singularly focused on old-school methods and dismiss the suggestion of a more progressive approach to treatment.

Audrey’s Children’s screenwriter Julia Fisher Farbman was a close friend of the real Dr. Evans and had Audrey’s support while penning the script. Fisher Farbman also obtained the support of Ronald McDonald House Charities and CHOP, and the result is a film that captures Dr. Evans’ revolutionary discoveries in the fight against the deadliest of childhood cancers.

Natalie Dormer does a phenomenal job of capturing the remarkable, tenacious, and forward-thinking doctor who transformed patient care. Dormer captures Dr. Evans’ resolve and courage in speaking up at a time when women in her field were considered lesser than their male colleagues. Dormer displays the strength Dr. Evans needed to basically take on the medical establishment and also perfectly portrayed the warmth and compassion Audrey was well known for showing her children and their families.

Audrey’s Children is deeply inspirational, much like the remarkable woman whose story we see on screen. Director Ami Canaan Mann, screenwriter Julia Fisher Farbman, Natalie Dormer, and the supporting cast have skillfully brought Dr. Evans into the spotlight where her incredible life’s work truly belongs.

‘The Legend of Ochi’ Releases a Behind-the-Scenes Featurette

A24’s The Legend of Ochi pulls back the curtain for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the fantasy adventure and the process of bringing the film’s weird little creature to life. Writer-director Isaiah Saxon opted to use practical effects, including puppeteers manipulating the creature that sort of resembles a gremlin/monkey hybrid.

“In a remote village on the island of Carpathia, a shy farm girl named Yuri is raised to fear an elusive animal species known as ochi,” reads A24’s synopsis. “But when Yuri discovers a wounded baby ochi has been left behind, she escapes on a quest to bring him home.”

Helena Zengel (News of the World), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Emily Watson (Dune: Prophecy), and Willem Dafoe (Nosferatu) star in the PG-rated adventure. A24 has set an April 25, 2025 theatrical release.

The Legend of Ochi had its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. It’s earned a 77% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics saying it looks gorgeous and that the visuals elevate the storytelling.

Country Music Hall of Fame Announces 2025 Inductees

Country Music Hall of Fame 2025 Inductees
2025 inductees of the Country Music Hall of Fame Tony Brown, June Carter Cash, and Kenny Chesney (Photo Credit: CMA)

The Country Music Association has selected three individuals to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. The class of 2025 includes June Carter Cash in the Veterans Era Artist category and Kenny Chesney in the Modern Era Artist category. Tony Brown rounds out the list of this year’s inductees, entering the Country Music Hall of Fame in the Non-Performer category.

“This year’s inductees embody the relentless drive and dedication that defines Country Music,” stated Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “Kenny, June, and Tony have each left a lasting imprint on the genre, shaping its history with their contributions. From a young age, each of them was immersed in music, and their lifelong commitment has led to this very moment. Their achievements speak to the passion and dedication that have defined their extraordinary careers, and the impact of their work will continue to inspire future generations.”

Trahern continued, “There’s something incredibly special about being able to surprise each inductee or their family with this recognition—it’s one of the most rewarding aspects of my job, knowing how deeply their careers have touched the lives of so many, including myself. It is with great pride that we honor these three remarkable individuals and celebrate the lasting legacy they have created within our format.”

June Carter Cash passed away on May 15, 2003, at age 73. Her family responded to the honor with the following statement: “June Carter Cash represents the whole cloth of Country Music, its breadth and heritage. And June’s place in Country Music is undeniable. From the 1940s, across the decades, and into the current century, her voice has been heard across the country and throughout much of the world, both with Mother Maybelle Carter, sisters Helen and Anita, and on her own, as well as with her duet partners, including her beloved Johnny Cash, with whom she told stories and inspired musicians both past, present, and future.

She was a loving wife and mother, an actress, singer, songwriter, comedienne, and a truly gifted performer whose persona was never exactly what was expected but was always and totally June. She profoundly respected, and was respected for, her craft, and that endures to this day. We, the Carter and Cash families, are most grateful and proud that the County Music Association has given June this well-deserved honor for her undeniable contribution to the fabric of Country Music and American culture.”

Kenny Chesney is the only Country artist to hold a spot on Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years and has earned four Country Music Association and four Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year awards. “You don’t dare dream of being in the Country Music Hall of Fame, alongside legends including George Jones, Willie Nelson, Alabama, even Dean Dillon,” said Kenny Chesney about being included in the class of 2025 inductees. “I’ve been lucky enough to get to call them my friends, and that was plenty. But hearing the news I’d been voted into the Hall, I can honestly say beyond my wildest dreams, it’s an honor that defies words. I am humbled, grateful, honored…as much for all the songwriters, musicians, artists, and people who’ve helped me build my career; they have truly inspired me every single day.”

“When you’re producing No. 1 records, you feel like you know what you’re doing,” said Tony Brown on being recognized by the Country Music Association. “But being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame—especially for someone as idealistic as me—makes it feel like you’ve truly made an impact. And that has always been my goal.”
