The countdown is on as we’re now more than halfway through the final season of FX’s Sons of Anarchy with tonight’s eighth episode of season seven airing at 10pm ET/PT. Episode seven found Gemma acting paranoid about what Juice might tell Jax (Charlie Hunnam), not even realizing that her grandson Abel overheard her confession to his baby brother. It appeared episode seven would be Juice’s last, however Jax found a way to use Juice that played on his desire to remain a member of SAMCRO.

And while Juice (Theo Rossi) and Gemma (Katey Sagal) escaped the grim reaper, Bobby was taken by Marks and had his eyeball removed and sent to Jax and the club, along with a video of the actual gouging. He’s still alive, but Jax is going to have to make some heavy decisions if he wants ever to see Bobby (Mark Boone Jr) alive again.

Meanwhile, series creator Kurt Sutter’s had a heck of a week. Filming is currently underway on the series finale, however Sutter had to make an emergency trip to the hospital due to abdominal pain. It turns out he had to undergo an appendectomy and even posted the photo of the removed organ on Instagram. Paris Barclay stepped in to take over so that filming could continue, and Sutter believes he’ll be able to finish up the final two days of shooting this Wednesday and Thursday.

The Plot of Episode Eight:

“The Separation of Crows” – With the search for a missing member at a standstill, focus shifts to flushing out an internal rat.

Here’s the scoop on titles and release dates:

Doctor Strange arrives on November 4, 2016 with Scott Derrickson directing. They’re still in the negotiations stage so Feige did not confirm Benedict Cumberbatch would be playing the title role.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be released on May 5, 2017.

Thor: Ragnarok opens on July 28, 2017. Ragnarok means “the end of all things”…

Black Panther solo movie opens on November 3, 2017 with Chadwick Boseman in the title role.

Captain Marvel will be released on July 6, 2018. This Captain Marvel will be Carol Danvers, and Feige says now is the right time to be working on a Captain Marvel movie.

Inhumans is scheduled to arrive on November 2, 2018.

Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 will open on May 4, 2018 followed by Part 2 on May 3, 2019.

Feige said, “The studio is firing on all cylinders right now. We have the best people working behind the camera and in front of the camera.” Feige also said that while they do talk about a The Runaways movie, it’s currently not in the studio’s plans.
