Masterchef Junior will return for a second season as just announced by Fox Broadcasting Company Chairman of Entertainment Kevin Reilly. Season one of the cooking competition show was incredibly entertaining, featuring kids who knew more about cooking than most adults will ever understand.

The Masterchef trio of chefs Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Graham Elliot guided the young cooks through the season and seemed genuinely surprised by the quality of the cooking. The audience also got into watching kids ages eight through 13 show off their skills, with season one averaging 5.1 million viewers.

Masterchef Junior is one of the few shows on television that the entire family can truly enjoy together, and I can’t wait to see what Gordon, Joe, Graham and the next round of rambunctious, ridiculously talented junior chefs cook up in Season Two,” said Reilly.

Aaron Paul’s Featured on the Need for Speed Poster

Here’s something for all of you Breaking Bad fans experiencing Aaron Paul withdrawal. DreamWorks Pictures is showing off a brand new poster for the 2014 action movie Need for Speed starring Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots, Ramon Rodriguez, Rami Malek, Scott Mescudi, Dakota Johnson, Harrison Gilbertson and Michael Keaton.

The Plot:

DreamWorks Pictures’ Need for Speed marks an exciting return to the great car culture films of the 1960s and ’70s, when the authenticity of the world brought a new level of intensity to the action on-screen. Tapping into what makes the American myth of the open road so appealing, the story chronicles a near-impossible cross-country journey for our heroes — one that begins as a mission for revenge, but proves to be one of redemption. Based on the most successful racing video game franchise ever with over 140 million copies sold, Need for Speed captures the freedom and excitement of the game in a real-world setting, while bringing to life the passion for the road that has made our love of cars so timeless.

The film centers around Tobey Marshall (Aaron Paul), a blue-collar mechanic who races muscle cars on the side in an unsanctioned street-racing circuit. Struggling to keep his family-owned garage afloat, he reluctantly partners with the wealthy and arrogant ex-NASCAR driver Dino Brewster (Dominic Cooper). But just as a major sale to car broker Julia Maddon (Imogen Poots) looks like it will save Tobey’s shop, a disastrous race allows Dino to frame Tobey for a crime he didn’t commit, and sending Tobey to prison while Dino expands his business out West.

Two years later, Tobey is released and set on revenge — but he knows his only chance to take down his rival Dino is to defeat him in the high-stakes race known as De Leon — the Super Bowl of underground racing. However to get there in time, Tobey will have to run a high-octane, action-packed gauntlet that includes dodging pursuing cops coast-to-coast as well as contending with a dangerous bounty Dino has put out on his car. With the help of his loyal crew and the surprisingly resourceful Julia, Tobey defies odds at every turn and proves that even in the flashy world of exotic supercars, the underdog can still finish first.

Need for Speed arrives in theaters on March 14, 2014.

USA Greenlights Chrisley Knows Best Series

USA NetworkAtlanta multimillionaire Todd Chrisley and his family will be the subjects of a new reality series on USA Network. Tentatively titled Chrisley Knows Best, the eight episode half-hour show is set to debut on March 11, 2014 at 10pm, with repeats airing on Sundays at 10:30pm starting March 16th.

Chrisley Knows Best is a broad family comedy that is a modern version of Father Knows Best with the volume turned way up” said Heather Olander, senior vice president, alternative programming for USA Network. “While their lifestyle is over-the-top and their personalities are larger-than-life, the Chrisleys are a very close-knit family who are refreshingly honest and genuinely funny.”

The Plot: “Todd Chrisley isn’t your typical father. Brash and outspoken with a razor sharp southern wit and remarkable ability to dish insults, he keeps the family in line through his tough, and at times brutally honest, form of parenting. When it comes to his family, nothing is off limits – whether it’s deciding the hem length of his daughter’s sweet 16 dress, placing a tracking device on his children’s cars or tossing his son’s laptop in the pool because of inappropriate activity. A totally self-made man, Todd believes he has all the answers. As Todd jokes, he’s ‘already been there, done that, bought the tee-shirt.'”

The Chrisleys:

Julie: The daughter of a Baptist minister and former Miss Carolina who is Todd’s business partner, best friend and a “super mom” who does it all. A strong minded woman, she’s not afraid to say what she thinks and spend the family’s dough as she sees fit – whether Todd likes it, or not.

Lindsie: The eldest daughter, age 24, stunned Todd by her decision to elope and then five months later surprised him even more with the news that she was expecting her first child. Lindsie butts heads with her dad on a daily basis about her husband and how to parent her baby son, Jackson.

Kyle: The eldest son, 22-year-old Kyle, was once shipped off to Samoa by his parents to work with the Red Cross after he was caught with a married woman. Now he is trying to figure out what to do with his life and is living with a new roomie: Todd’s mother, Faye.

Chase: A mini version of Todd, who prides himself on being the favorite child, Chase is always trying to outsmart his dad, which keeps him under Todd’s watchful eye at all times. The 17-year-old top athlete charms the ladies with his good looks and his brand new Range Rover.

Savannah: This 16-year-old pageant queen boasts a 4.2 grade point average and would not be caught dead without her make-up and heels. She has grand dreams of being Miss Georgia one day and ultimately becoming a pediatric oncologist. She and older brother Chase are often in cahoots – whether that’s in mischief, having each other’s back or even dealing with dad.

Grayson: The youngest of the Chrisley clan, at age seven, Grayson is also the most charming and gets away with just about everything. He got his first iPhone at age four and now he has mastered the art of using mom’s credit card to buy any toy or app he wants.
