IFC and R. Kelly are teaming up for more episodes of the “hip hopera” Trapped in the Closet. The series will return with new episodes in 2014, so says IFC President and General Manager Jennifer Caserta. And all 33 previous chapters of the series will air on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 5:15pm ET/PT.

“R. Kelly is an enormously talented artist and his creativity is on full display in Trapped in the Closet,” said Caserta. “We are fortunate to be his partner in this one-of-a-kind project that has captivated viewers and can’t wait to bring the next chapters of Trapped to IFC.”

R. Kelly stars in, executive produces, co-directs, and created the series. Per the network: “Born entirely from his creative vision, characters Sylvester, Rufus, Cathy, Tina, Roxanne, Rosie the Nosy Neighbor, Randolph, Twan, Pimp Lucius, Dr. Perry, Reverend Moseley, and kingpin Beeno all return to this epic saga with more secrets, infidelity and unyielding passion for saving their relationships.”

‘Devil’s Due’ Delivers a Creepy New Trailer

20th Century Fox unveiled a new trailer for the horror film Devil’s Due heading to theaters on January 17, 2014. Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, Devil’s Due stars Allison Miller, Zach Gilford, and Sam Anderson.

The Plot:

After a mysterious, lost night on their honeymoon, a newlywed couple finds themselves dealing with an earlier-than-planned pregnancy. While recording everything for posterity, the husband begins to notice odd behavior in his wife that they initially write off to nerves, but, as the months pass, it becomes evident that the dark changes to her body and mind have a much more sinister origin.

Another Clip Arrives from ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’

One thing Paramount Pictures is definitely not doing is letting Anchorman 2: The Legend Continue slip quietly into theaters. Will Ferrell is everywhere in character as Ron Burgundy promoting this comedy sequel, showing up to do legitimate news, sports news, starring in commercials, etc etc etc. Is it too much? Maybe.

But for those who haven’t already gotten tired of Ferrell as Ron Burgundy, check out the new clip featuring Ron getting the scoop on a new 24-hour news channel.

The Plot:

With the 70’s behind him, San Diego’s top-rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk. Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weatherman Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking the nation’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.

It’s that time of year again when the leaves change color, the weather changes from hot sunny days to cold and cloudy with a chance of rain and snow (depending on where you live) and let’s not forget the return of Disney On Ice. Yes, Disney On Ice is back again with a new show called “Disney On Ice: Rockin Ever After.” This year, Merida from Disney/Pixar’s movie Brave will make her debut and show fans of the film what she can do on the ice.

Here are the details on the Southern California dates for “Disney On Ice: Rockin’ Ever After”:

World-class skaters will bring to life moments from Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Tangled, and – of course – Brave in this new show. ‘Royal contenders’ will compete for the heart of Merida while skating to a Scottish jib. And The Little Mermaid‘s Sebastian will toss off his shell to skate with Ariel. Also spotlighted during this new Disney On Ice show will be Beast showing off for Belle as well as ‘hooligans’ causing mayhem during a visit with Rapunzel and Flynn.

‘The Sound of Music’ Video: Do-Re-Mi

What did you think of NBC’s ambitious live production of The Sound of Music? The major complaint wasn’t the staging or even the fact that no version can live up to the film starring the wonderful and talented Julie Andrews, it was that Carrie Underwood simply can not act.

Underwood’s got a beautiful voice, but the network probably would have been better served getting an actress who can sing rather than going with a singer who doesn’t act.

‘Veronica Mars’ Clip – Neptune High School Reunion

Following the big announcement of a March 14, 2014 release date (almost exactly one year after the launch of the Kickstarter campaign), Veronica Mars is showing off a clip. The scene finds Kristen Bell as Veronica, Percy Daggs III as Wallace, and Tina Majorino as Mac reluctantly returning to Neptune High for their 10-year reunion.
