Ready to ring in the holidays with the men and women of Duck Dynasty? A&E has set a December 11, 2013 premiere date for the one-hour Christmas special starring the Robertsons.

The fourth season of Duck Dynasty drew in 11.8 million viewers for its August 14th season premiere and, according to A&E, that number is the best of any nonfiction series telecast in cable history.

The Holiday Special Plot:

It’s Christmas time in “O Little Town of West Monroe,” where the Robertsons are partaking in traditions new and old. The family is asked to perform a live nativity for the church, so the wives take it upon themselves to organize rehearsals to ensure they pull off a great event. However, wrangling all the Robertson men requires divine intervention; Jep is afraid he won’t remember his one line, Si can’t let go of his teacup and Jase gives Willie a hard time about his role as Joseph.

Meanwhile, Phil enlists Kay and Jessica to go hunting for the perfect Christmas ham but it doesn’t take long for him to regret it. Willie and Jase struggle to find a gift their wives won’t want to return so they unenthusiastically take the advice of Jep, who always gives Jessica thoughtful presents that she loves.

It’s Here! ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Official Trailer is Released

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Trailer
Jamie Foxx and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man star in Columbia Pictures' "The Amazing Spider-Man." (Photo by Niko Tavernise / © 2013 Columbia Pictures)

Columbia Pictures just unveiled the official trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 along with a new synopsis of the 2014 film. Starring Andrew Garfield in the title role, The Amazing Spider-Man also features Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Emma Stone as Gwen, Paul Giamatti as The Rhino, Campbell Scott as Richard Parker, Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker, and Colm Feore as Adrian Toomes. Marc Webb returns as director.

The Plot:

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
