Bradley Cooper as Phil, Zach Galifianakis as Alan and Ed Helms as Stu in Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' comedy "THE HANGOVER PART III," a Warner Bros. Pictures release.
I wasn’t a big fan of The Hangover Part II but I did love original The Hangover. So, will The Hangover Part III be more like the original or will it show that maybe The Hangover gang should have been satisfied with one huge hit and left it at that. We won’t know the answer until The Hangover Part III opens in theaters on May 24, 2013, however, Warner Bros has a new trailer to show off that does show much more of what we can expect this time around.
The Hangover Part III was directed by Todd Phillips and stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, and Heather Graham.
The Plot:
This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.
Bruno Mars’ Unorthodox Jukebox is producing hit after hit singles. His latest single to score a #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart is “When I Was Your Man,” marking his second single in a row to make it to the top of the chart. Mars’ prior single to nab the #1 spot, “Locked Out of Heaven,” managed to stay in that position for six weeks.
“When I Was Your Man” is Mars’ fifth single to reach #1 and has now, according to Atlantic Records, sold 2 million copies in North America and an additional 1 million copies overseas. Billboard reports Mars has now scored five #1 hits quicker than any other male performer since Elvis Presley. And the album has been certified platinum in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Currently, Unorthodox Jukebox stands as Britain’s fastest-selling solo album of 2013.
Mars has just been announced as the opening act at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards to be held on May 19, 2013. The show will air on ABC live from Las Vegas. He’s also poised to launch his Moonshine Jungle Tour on June 22nd in Washington, DC. Mars will be out on the road performing for fans through November.

The new drama Devious Maids is set to premiere on Lifetime on June 23, 2013 at 10pm. The new series stars Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sanchez, Edy Ganem, and Judy Reyes as Beverly Hills maids, with Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives) and Eva Longoria executive producing.
Devious Maids was inspired by the telenovela, Ellas son la Alegría del Hogar. The cast of the 13 episode series also includes Rebecca Wisocky, Brianna Brown, Tom Irwin, Brett Cullen, Drew Van Acker, Mariana Klaveno, Matt Cedeno, Melinda Paige Hamilton and Grant Show.
The Plot:
In Devious Maids, murder and mayhem collide in the mansions of Beverly Hills’ wealthiest and most powerful families. Class warfare has never been as fun and dirty as it is in the tony enclave where the staff is as clever, witty, outrageous and downright devilish as their employers. Whoever holds the dirt holds the power, and before the season is over, illicit affairs will be revealed and deep dark secrets exposed as we learn the sordid details behind a shocking murder of a beloved housemaid.
The series centers on a close-knit group of maids who are bonded together by their jobs, life struggles and the melodramatic “upstairs-downstairs” universe that engulfs their employers. Rosie (Ramirez), a widow who left her son back in Mexico when her husband died, works as the maid and nanny for a pair of self-absorbed and successful actors, Peri and Spence Westmore (Klaveno). Aspiring singer Carmen (Sanchez), hopes that her pop star employer Alejandro (Cedeno) can help jump-start her career, but Odessa (Hamilton), his very loyal housekeeper and her boss, will stop at nothing to stand in her way. Zoila (Reyes) is the senior maid for Genevieve Delatour (Susan Lucci, All My Children), a co-dependent, emotionally unstable wealthy woman. She works alongside her teen daughter Valentina (Ganem), who has a crush on Genevieve’s handsome son, Remi (Van Acker).
In the series premiere, the women turn to one another for support when their friend and fellow maid Flora (Paula Garces) is brutally murdered at the home of her employers, Evelyn and Adrian Powell (Wisocky), at one of the largest society events of the year. Meanwhile, newcomer Marisol (Ortiz) is hired to clean the home of Taylor and Michael Stappord (Brown), a newlywed couple with a complicated love history. But Marisol has ulterior motives and when someone she loves becomes wrapped up in Flora’s murder, she goes undercover to learn the truth.
The last time we saw Anna Kendrick on the big screen she was singing her heart out – and playing with cups in Pitch Perfect. But her new film, the horror comedy Rapture-Palooza, doesn’t seem to be the sort of movie that will give her many opportunities to show off her singing ability.
Lionsgate’s just released this first photo from the apocalyptic comedy heading to theaters and VOD on June 7, 2013 with Kendrick in a starring role. The cast also includes Paul Scheer, Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry, and John Francis Daley.
The Plot: When the Apocalypse actually happens, and a billion people are raptured up to heaven, Lindsey (Anna Kendrick) and her boyfriend Ben (John Francis Daley) are left behind in suburban Seattle. The young couple tries their best to lead a normal life surrounded by talking locusts, blood rain showers and pot-smoking wraiths. But when The Beast (Craig Robinson) makes his home base in their neighborhood, Lindsey finds herself the object of his affection.
With the help of her family, friends and a lawn-mowing zombie neighbor (Tom Lennon), the young couple set off to stop the Anti-Christ from taking her as his bride…and just maybe, saving the world in the process.
Harry Connick, Jr. promises his new album Every Man Should Know contains 12 original songs that expose his feelings in a way no other album of his has done. Arriving on June 11, 2013, Every Man Should Know features Connick collaborating with soloists Branford Marsalis and Wynton Marsalis as well as his longtime band regulars Jerry Weldon (tenor sax) and Jonathan DuBose, Jr (guitar).
“I don’t recall ever reaching quite as deeply – or confidently – into my inhibition pool,” said Connick Jr about this new album. “I used to be more comfortable writing in a fantasy-style concept, using ideas that intrigued me but didn’t necessarily come from personal experience. It’s one thing to assume the role of a storyteller – it’s quite another when the story is your own. I felt ready to explore some of my personal experiences in some of the songs this time around.”
On the title track:
– “I was building a workbench with a carpenter friend,” Connick explains, “and my lack of knowledge about carpentry left me feeling inadequate. It led me to think about other things that every man should know, like how to change a tire. Then I began thinking about what everybody should know how to do, and that’s to love.”
On “Come See About Me”:
– “‘Come See About Me’ is a song about a guy who’s heartbroken that was inspired by a line Kim Burrell sang on ‘All These People’ [a song about the abandoned Katrina victims from Connick’s 2007 CD Oh, My NOLA]. It was tough for me to sing, because the thought of watching the one you love move on is so painful. Just the idea of it hurts, and it took me a few tries just to figure out how to sing it.”
On “The Greatest Love Story”:
– The song is for Connick’s wife Jill and his late mother, Anita. “Before, I would never talk about my mother, much less write about her,” Connick admits. “It took years and years, and this might be my first specific lyric reference to her in a song. Her life and her death were so significant to me, and over time they’ve gained layers. I actually cried the first time I sang the lyrics in the studio.”
On “Love Wins”:
– The song is dedicated to Ana Grace Marquez-Greene, one of the children killed in the Newtown, Connecticut tragedy and the daughter of former Connick Big Band tenor saxophonist Jimmy Greene. Connick sang at Ana Grace’s funeral, and was inspired by a speaker at the service who emphasized that love trumps even the greatest tragedy. All proceeds from sale of “Love Wins” will go to the Ana Grace Fund anagracefund.com.

Carson Daly’s late-night series, Last Call with Carson Daly, will be sticking around for season 13. NBC confirmed the series has been renewed for another season, with NBC President of Alternative and Late Night Programming Paul Telegdy making the announcement.
“We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Carson who has broken the mold, creating his own unique late-night show format with Last Call,” stated Telegdy. “The show has become a platform for emerging artists – and Carson’s engaging interview style has made it the place for insightful conversations with an eclectic group of new stars as well as established icons and newsmakers.”
“I’m extremely proud of what we’ve accomplished with Last Call,” said Daly. “I love coming to work every day and having the opportunity to collaborate with this incredible team. We are always looking to give viewers something new and fresh that they can’t find anywhere else on television. I’m grateful to have the chance to continue doing what I love the most.”
In addition to Last Call, Daly’s been keeping busy as the host of The Voice.
It appears that The CW is not going to invest any more time in letting Cult catch on with viewers. The network has changed its Friday schedule, pulling the low-rated show off the air in favor of airing repeats of The Carrie Diaries.
Series creator Rockne O’Bannon took to Twitter to discuss the network’s decision. The network hasn’t released an official confirmation of the cancellation, however O’Bannon had this to say about the probable decision:
“#Cult Sadly true. CW Execs once called the last 5 episodes “outstanding”. I guess too outstanding. You are great, SMART fans. Thx to u all!” – @Rockne_S
He added that the cast which includes Matt Davis, Jessica Lucas, and Robert Knepper had delivered amazing work in the final five (unaired) episodes.
In this new Funny or Die video, Seth Rogen discovers that after doing charitable work he can then act out as the worst person he could possibly be. He even goes as far as to cook up meth with Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston and repeatedly shoots David Krumholtz.
The video is actually in support of the charity Hilarity for Charity benefiting the National Alzheimer’s Association. The 2nd annual fundraising event will be held on April 25, 2013 in Hollywood. Special guests scheduled to perform/appear at the event include Rogen, Kevin Hart, Mindy Kaling, Nick Kroll, Bo Burnham, and Ken Marino.
