The Lost Tree trailer features running, flashlights, Thomas Ian Nicholas looking angry and confused, and a tree. Oh, and birds…lots and lots of birds. What it doesn’t offer is a lot of information as to the film’s plot, which is okay as most trailers give away too much.
The horror/drama was written and directed by Brian A. Metcalf and stars Nicholas, Michael Madsen, Scott Grimes, Lacey Chabert, and Clare Kramer.
The Plot:
After a serious traumatic accident, Noah (Nicholas), who is guilt-ridden for the death of his wife, Emma (Kramer) leaves his old life behind and travels to an isolated cabin in search of peace and isolation. But he soon learns of the dangerous surroundings of the area.
You’re going to want to sing along with How I Met Your Mother‘s Robin Daggers (formerly Robin Sparkles), so CBS has kindly provided the lyrics to the catchy tune. Debuting on the February 4, 2013 episode of How I Met Your Mother, Cobie Smulders gets all grungy/gothy as she channels Robin Sparkles’ alter-ego, Robin Daggers.
“P.S. I Love You” by Robin Sparkles
Verse 1
You, you’re beautiful / On your pedestal / I see you, you don’t see me…
Am I just too young…
Or just too dumb…
Or maybe just too grungy!
And I’m wearin’ my flannel and thinkin’ of you…
I lace up my boots and I’m thinkin’ of you.
I write letters and letters, they never get answered by you-ou!
I’m moosing down donuts and thinking of you…/ I watch “Reality Bites,” I’m thinkin’ of you / That movie’s so true but all I can do is say….
(Creepy whispers) P.S. I love you.
Verse 2
The law can’t stop my love…
I’ll fit you like a glove…
Restraining orders don’t scare me…
The lawyers at the record company…
Made me promise to say…
(Quickly) That the views expressed in this song do not necessarily reflect the views of Dominant Records or any of its subsidiaries…
I’m totally a slacker and I don’t even care / With my curling ‘zines and my faraway stare / But deep down inside, yeah, deep down inside I’m dying..
I’m trapped in a cage of the tears I cry…
I’m praying to God, but she doesn’t reply
Even the robot says—
(Robot voice) Move on…
(Screaming) I’M TRYING!!!
(Creepy whispers) P.S. I love you.
Bridge
(Whispers) Why can’t you see me?
We could be so happy together
Capitalism
I love to watch you sleep
You look so peaceful when you sleep
3rd verse
I’ll never move on, it’ll always be you!
Every guy that I’m with, I’ll be thinking of you…
Even if I get married, he’ll always be second to you…

Karen (Katharine McPhee) consults her new mentor, Broadway star Veronica “Ronnie” Moore (guest star Jennifer Hudson), as she finds herself on the brink of fame, but her success may come at cost to Ivy (Megan Hilty). A new talent (Jeremy Jordan) is discovered in an unexpected place. Meanwhile, Derek (Jack Davenport) copes with a damaging accusation. Leslie Odom, Jr., Andy Mientus and Krysta Rodriguez also star. Jennifer Hudson, Harvey Fierstein, Thorsten Kaye, and Brian d’Arcy James guest star.

If you can get past the bizarre wigs, HBO’s Phil Spector could be interesting to watch. It has David Mamet as both writer and director and a cast that’s led by Al Pacino and Helen Mirren. So why, after seeing the trailer, am I still not sold on this dramatic retelling?
The Plot:
Phil Spector is [Mamet’s] exploration of the client-attorney relationship between legendary music producer Phil Spector (Al Pacino) and defense attorney Linda Kenney Baden (Helen Mirren), who represented Spector during his first trial for murder. Mamet serves as executive producer with Barry Levinson. The cast also includes Rebecca Pidgeon, Jeffrey Tambor and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
HBO will premiere Spector on March 24, 2013 at 9pm.
More of the Fast & Furious 6 plot is revealed in this 3:21 minute extended trailer just released by Universal Pictures. The F&F gang is called back into action by Dwayne Johnson as ‘Hobbs’ to try and rescue Letty (Michelle Rodgriguez) who everyone assumed was dead.
The cast includes Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Luke Evans, Elsa Pataky, and Gina Carano.
The Plot:
Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian’s (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.
Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez). The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.
Fast & Furious 6 arrives in theaters on May 24, 2013.

NCIS fans probably saw this one coming, but CBS did make it official – the series will be back for season 11. The network also extended the contract of the show’s star/executive producer, Mark Harmon. The renewal guarantees NCIS will return for the 2013-2014 season.
The decision was pretty much a no-brainer for the network as season 10 has become television’s #1 show, averaging 21.48 viewers. That’s a 7% increase over season nine.
“In a world gone niche, NCIS keeps getting bigger, and Mark Harmon continues to define the role of leading man on the #1 show on television,” stated Leslie Moonves, President and Chief Executive Officer, CBS Corporation. “NCIS is the type of franchise every company wants in today’s global content ecosystem – high-quality storytelling that generates passionate viewers and drives revenue on every conceivable platform.”
The cast is led by Harmon and includes Michael Weatherly, Cote de Pablo, Sean Murray, Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll, Brian Dietzen, and David McCallum.
