Labeled a ‘tween series’, the Seven Wonders is “about four friends on an epic quest to unlock the secrets of an ancient world.”
“It’s the story of a lifetime,” said Lerangis, describing the series. “A combustible mix of ordinary kids thrown into an extraordinary world of mystical settings, history, humor, science, odd characters, and a barefoot burping giant named Torquin. I am having way too much fun writing this series. I can’t wait for readers across the world to discover Seven Wonders.”
Susan Katz, president and publisher of HarperCollins Children’s Books, said, “With Seven Wonders, Peter has created a new series filled with adventure and excitement that’s perfect for young readers.”
The Plot of Book #1:
The Colossus Rises begins just before thirteen-year-old Jack McKinley is brought to a mysterious hospital as a captive of a secret organization. Told he has a rare genetic disorder that will soon kill him, Jack realizes he has one hope and one hope only: help the organization retrieve seven magical objects that have been lost among the ruins of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World for thousands of years. With little hope left and only each other to turn to, Jack and his three newfound friends have no choice but to undertake the impossible adventure. First stop: the Colossus of Rhodes, where they quickly realize that there’s much more at stake than just their lives.
The Select, a prequel to the Seven Wonders series, will be released as a free original ebook on December 18, 2012. It traces the story of thirteen-year-old Burt Wenders, as told through his recently unearthed journal. Burt is the first-known carrier of the same genetic disorder afflicting Jack, and The Select is the tale of his adventures over serpent-infested waters and through beast-filled jungles in a vain attempt to find a cure. It’s a stirring first-person account of one kid’s heroic struggle to save himself–and the first installment of an adventure greater than Burt could have ever imagined.

‘Cougar Town’ Cast Music Video

They’re back, as they so proudly sing in this Cougar Town cast music video.
Cougar Town moves to TBS and will be returning to primetime with new episodes beginning Tuesday, January 8, 2013. ABC canceled the series after three seasons of so-so ratings, but it’s found new life on basic cable’s TBS.
The Plot:
In Cougar Town, Courteney Cox stars as Jules Cobb, a recently divorced mom struggling with the challenges and pitfalls that come with a new chapter in her life. Jules spends much of her time enjoying wine with her group of friends known as the “cul de sac crew.” They include her under-achieving ex-husband, Bobby (Brian Van Holt); next-door neighbor and confidante Ellie (Christa Miller); Ellie’s loveably average husband, Andy (Ian Gomez); Jules’ fiancé and neighbor, Grayson (Josh Hopkins); and Jules’ feisty protégé, Laurie (Busy Philipps).
Meanwhile, Jules’ college-student son, Travis (Dan Byrd), often proves himself more adult than anyone in the group.
A&E Renews The Glades

Fans of The Glades will be pleased to know A&E Network will be bringing the dramatic series back for season four. Viewers tuned in in big numbers for season three, up 5% from season two with an average audience of 4.1 million per new episode which made the decision to bring the show back pretty much a no-brainer.
Filming will begin soon on season four set to air in 2013.
The Glades stars Matt Passmore, Kiele Sanchez, Carlos Gómez, and Michelle Hurd and was created/executive produced by Clifton Campbell.
The Plot:
In The Glades, Matt Passmore stars as Jim Longworth, an attractive and brilliant Chicago homicide detective with a reputation for being difficult. When his captain wrongfully accuses him of sleeping with his wife and shoots him, he is exiled and forced to relocate. He lands in the sleepy, middle-of-nowhere town of Palm Glade, outside of the Florida Everglades, where sunshine and golf are plentiful and crime is seemingly at a minimum. But Longworth soon finds out this town isn’t quite as idyllic as he originally thought, when murders keep piling up.
