Tracy Spiridakos stars as Charlie Matheson, Graham Rogers is Danny, Billy Burke plays Miles, Anna Lise Phillips is Maggie, Zak Orth is Aaron, and JD Pardo is Nate. The cast also includes Giancarlo Esposito as Captain Tom Neville, David Lyons as Bass, Maria Howell as Grace, Daniealla Alonso as Nora, Tim Guinee as Ben Matheson, and Elizabeth Mitchell as Rachel Matheson.

The Synopsis: What would you do without it all? In this epic adventure from J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions and Supernatural‘s Eric Kripke, a family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology — computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights — has mysteriously blacked out forever. A drama with sweeping scope and intimate focus, Revolution is also about family — both the family you’re born into and the family you choose.

This is a swashbuckling journey of hope and rebirth seen through the eyes of one strong-willed young woman, Charlie Matheson (Spiridakos), and her brother Danny (Rogers). When Danny is kidnapped by militia leaders for a darker purpose, Charlie must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles (Burke), a former U.S. Marine living a reclusive life. Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia, and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed, and if — or how — it will ever return.

The full trailer for the independent comedy movie 3, 2, 1…Frankie Go Boom is pretty hilarious (and I’m glad they rescue the pig). Hopefully, it’s not giving too much away – a common problem with trailers.

Directed by Jordan Roberts, Frankie Go Boom stars Charlie Hunnam, Chris O’Dowd, Lizzy Caplan, Nora Dunn, Whitney Cummings, Ron Perlman, and Chris Noth. The comedy will be released via iTunes on September 10, 2012 and in theaters on October 12th.

The Plot:

Frank Bartlett has been tortured, embarrassed, and humiliated by his brother Bruce — usually on film — his entire life. Now that Bruce is finally off drugs and has turned his life around, things should be different. They are not.

NBC’s one-hour drama Chicago Fire is set to premiere on October 10, 2012. The new series follows fire station 51, focusing on the work and private lives of its firefighters.

The series stars Jesse Spencer as Lt Matthew Casey, Taylor Kinner as Lt Kelly Severide,Teri Reeves as Hallie, Eamonn Walker as Battalion Chief Wallace Boden, and Monica Raymund as Gabriela Dawson. Charlie Barnett plays Peter Mills and David Eigenberg is Christopher Herrmann.

The Plot: For the firefighters, rescue squad, and paramedics of Chicago Firehouse 51, no occupation is more stressful or dangerous, yet so rewarding and exhilarating. These courageous men and women are among the elite who forge headfirst into danger when everyone else is running the other way and whose actions make the difference between life and death.

The pressure to perform on such a high level has a way of taking a personal toll, sometimes putting team members from the Truck and the specially-trained Rescue Squad at odds with each other. Despite any differences, this is an extended family, and when it’s “go time,” everyone inside Firehouse 51 knows no other way than to lay it all on the line for each other.

When a tragedy claims one of their own, there’s plenty of guilt and blame to go around. Lt. Matthew Casey (Spencer), in charge of the Truck, tries to carry on, but butts heads with the brash Lt. Kelly Severide (Kinney) of the Rescue Squad – and each blames the other for their fallen team member. Adding to the turmoil, Casey, unbeknownst to his colleagues, is in the midst of a separation from Hallie (Reeves).
