Check out the new poster for Warner Bros Pictures’ Pacific Rim directed by Guillermo del Toro. The poster was created for the San Diego Comic Con, and del Toro will be joining the film’s stars Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi and Ron Perlman for a “special look” at the film on Saturday, July 14th, in Hall H. If you’re lucky enough to have passes to this year’s Con, the Warner Bros panel on Saturday with Pacific Rim, The Hobbit, and Man of Steel is one of the event’s must-sees.
Lawless is the true story of the infamous Bondurant Brothers: bootlegging siblings who made a run for the American Dream in Prohibition-era Virginia. In this epic gangster tale, inspired by true-life tales of author Matt Bondurant’s family in his novel The Wettest County In The World, the loyalty of three brothers is put to the test against the backdrop of the nation’s most notorious crime wave.
Official Synopsis: It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

The new series is made up of 26 half-hour episodes featuring the familiar heroes in a half shell: Leonardo (voiced by Jason Biggs), Raphael (Sean Astin), Michelangelo (Greg Cipes), and Donatello (Rob Paulsen, the voice of Raphael in the 1987-1996 series).
The other key characters are voiced by Mae Whitman as ‘April O’Neil,’ Hoon Lee as ‘Master Splinter,’ and Kevin Michael Richardson as ‘Shredder.’
The Plot:
Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles begins as the turtles emerge from their hidden lair in the sewers for the very first time, ready to confront the wondrous and hostile world of New York City and face enemies more dangerous and pizza more delicious than anything they could have imagined. Funnier and with more Ninjutsu than ever before, the show will explore the companionship of four teenage brothers learning to rely on themselves and one another as they unravel the mystery of their existence and grow to become the heroes in a half-shell that they are destined to be.
Check out the new IMAX TV spot for The Dark Knight Rises featuring more action, more things blowing up, and more Bane. The Dark Knight Rises starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, and Michael Caine hits theaters on July 20, 2012.

Seriously? That would be a hard no, but thank you. Lucasfilm is bringing live snakes to Comic-Con as part of a promotion for the September 18th high-definition Blu-ray release of the Indiana Jones series (the first time they’ll be available on high-def Blu-ray). Comic-Con attendees will be able to pose for photos “with a recreation of the famous Well of Souls scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark, complete with throngs of live snakes!”
The snakes/Well of Souls photo op will be available Wednesday, July 11th through Sunday, July 15th during show hours at booth 2913. In case you’re wondering, I won’t be going anywhere near booth 2913 during the event.
The cast includes Twilight: Eclipse‘s Xavier Samuel and Sharni Vinson, Alex Russell, and Julian McMahon. “Bait In 3D is the ultimate shark thrill ride that will make you think twice about getting back in the water,” stated Kevin Kasha, Executive Vice President, Acquisitions and Co-Productions for Anchor Bay Films.
The Plot:
When a monstrous freak tsunami hits a sleepy beach community, a group of survivors from different walks of life find themselves trapped inside a submerged grocery store. As they try to escape to safety, they soon discover that there is a predator among them more deadly than the threat of drowning—vicious great white sharks lurking in the water, starved hungry for fresh meat.
As the bloodthirsty sharks begin to pick the survivors off one by one, the group realizes that they must work together to find a way out without being eaten alive.
Director Barry Sonnenfeld and writer Grant Morrison’s Dinosaurs vs. Aliens project has a motion comic teaser trailer, and Yahoo! announced the original motion comic program will debut on July 23rd on Yahoo! Screen. Sonnenfeld and Morrison envisioned the idea of aliens invading Earth during the time of the dinosaurs as both graphic novels and a series of three movies, and now there’s a teaser trailer for the motion comic version of the story.
The Plot:
Created by Barry Sonnenfeld and written by comic book superstar Grant Morrison, Dinosaurs Vs. Aliens is a motion comic version of Liquid’s upcoming graphic novel based on a secret world war battle that was never recorded in our history books. When an alien invasion attacks Earth in the age of the dinosaurs, our planet’s only saviors are the savage prehistoric beasts which are much more intelligent than humanity has ever imagined.
In addition, Summer Glau (Dollhouse, Firefly) will reprise her role as an Alpha named Skylar Adams in three episodes.
The Plot:
Alphas stars David Strathairn as Dr. Lee Rosen, Malik Yoba as Bill Harken, Warren Christie as Cameron Hicks, Azita Ghanizada as Rachel Pirzad, Ryan Cartwright as Gary Bell and Laura Mennell as Nina Theroux. Erin Way joins the cast this season as Kat, a mysterious young loner whose Alpha ability equips her with perfect muscle memory, making her a “quick study.” But while her skills are permanent, her personal memories are short-lived.
Alphas follows a clandestine group of ordinary people with superhuman mental and physical abilities. Led by preeminent neurologist and psychiatrist Dr. Lee Rosen, the unlikely team takes on cases the CIA, FBI and Pentagon are unwilling or unable to solve going head-to-head with many of the criminal Alphas hiding among the normal population.
The new season picks up eight months after last year’s stunning season finale with the stage set for an explosive turn of events at the Binghamton facility (the Guantanamo of the Alpha world) that could have devastating, far-reaching consequences. Dr. Lee Rosen, having exposed the existence of Alphas to the unsuspecting public, finds himself discredited and imprisoned by a government desperate to cover up his stunning revelation. Some of the team have disbanded and without Dr. Rosen’s care and guidance, have regressed to their old, destructive ways. They must now battle their individual demons, reunite and try to save their own.
