NBC announced the big-name musicians who’ll be performing on the 2012 season finale of The Voice taking place on Tuesday, May 8 (9-11pm). The same night that we’ll all learn who will be crowned this year’s best voice will find the stage filled with award-winning singers, including Justin Bieber.

Bieber will perform “Boyfriend,” off his upcoming Believe album, live for the first time on television. Flo Rida is also scheduled to perform a medley of ‘Wild Ones” and one other yet to be revealed song. Also hitting the stage will be Daryl Hall & John Oates set to perform their very first #1 single, “Rich Girl.” And Lady Antebellum is also committed to helping celebrate the finale of The Voice season two with a performance of “Wanted You More” off of their latest album, Own the Night.

For those not into The Voice, here’s the details on the NBC singing competition:

The Voice is a vocal competition show featuring celebrity musician coaches Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Carson Daly hosts and serves as producer, and Christina Milian serves as social media correspondent. The show’s innovative format features three stages of competition: the first begins with the blind audition, and then the competition enters into a battle phase, and finally, the live performance shows. In the end, each coach will have one star artist left ready to compete against the other teams’ finalists to be named “The Voice” – the winner will receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

Spotlight On: Rihanna Where Have You Been Music Video

I’m not sure what Rihanna’s video for “Where Have You Been” is actually supposed to be about as it doesn’t seem to tell a story. However, it does have Rihanna looking all sexy emerging from a lake in a bikini – and there’s even less clothing involved in subsequent scenes.

If you’re into Rihanna, the video’s worth checking out.

Fringe fans get to watch one more season of the show that’s been on the cancellation/renewal bubble for each of its four seasons. Fox has confirmed the renewal of the show for a fifth and final 13 episode season.

Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company made the announcement: “Fringe is a remarkably creative series that has set the bar as one of television’s most imaginative dramas. Bringing it back for a final 13 allows us to provide the climactic conclusion that its passionate and loyal fans deserve. The amazing work the producers, writers and the incredibly talented cast and crew have delivered the last four seasons has literally been out of this world. Although the end is bittersweet, it’s going to be a very exciting final chapter.”

Executive producer/co-creator J.J. Abrams added, “We are thrilled and beyond grateful that FOX – and our fans – have made the impossible possible: Fringe will continue into a fifth season that will allow the series to conclude in a wild and thrilling way. All of us at Bad Robot are forever indebted to our viewers and the amazingly supportive FOX network for allowing the adventures of Fringe Division to not only continue, but to resolve in a way that perfectly fits the show.”

Season 4 wraps up with a two-parter airing May 4 (9-10pm) and May 11th.
