Blue Bloods Series Description, Courtesy of CBS:

Blue Bloods is a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan is the New York Police Commissioner, and heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry, during his stint as chief.

A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son, Danny, a seasoned detective, family man, and Iraq War vet who on occasion uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his partner Detective Maria Baez. Erin, the middle daughter, is a New York assistant D.A. who serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father. Jamie is the youngest Reagan, a Harvard Law graduate, and the family’s golden boy. Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie decided to give up a lucrative future in law and follow in the family footsteps as a cop. He’s found a friend and ally in his wife, Eddie, who keeps him on his toes and has very different reasons than the Reagans for joining the police force.

Joan Vassos is the First Golden Bachelorette

61-year-old grandmother Joan Vassos has been named ABC’s first Golden Bachelorette. The school administrator from Rockland, Maryland was a fan favorite until she left The Golden Bachelor due to her daughter’s medical issue.

The Golden Bachelorette is the latest entry in the ever-expanding The Bachelor franchise. Claire Freeland, Jason Ehrlich, Bennett Graebner, and Andrew Frank serve as executive producers on the new series set to premiere on Wednesdays this fall.

“Vassos is a remarkable woman whose life has been defined by her resilience, zest for adventure, and strong family values. It was those family values that led to her heartbreaking decision to leave The Golden Bachelor, self-eliminating after a medical concern with her daughter arose. Despite that and other challenges she’s faced along the way – including the heartbreaking loss of her husband after 32 years of marriage – Vassos remains an embodiment of strength and grace as a devoted mother of four, grandmother of two, and school administrator, while finding solace in the music of Elton John, spending time with her dog, and cooking,” reads ABC’s biography of the first Golden Bachelorette. “Now, as she steps into the golden spotlight and begins her journey to seek love once more, Vassos envisions a future filled with shared moments by the beach and cherished time with family.”

Season one of The Golden Bachelor premiered in September 2023 and starred 72-year-old Gerry Turner. The retired restaurateur chose 70-year-old Theresa Nist, and the couple married in January 2024. They announced they’re divorcing just three months later.

Made for $18 million, the PG-13 romantic comedy grossed $141 million worldwide before exiting theaters. Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde followed in 2003, with more than double the budget. After a $22 million domestic opening weeking, the sequel wound up grossing $124 million worldwide during its theatrical run.

After fifteen painful seasons in the National League, the Club finally achieved promotion back into the English Football League. The stakes have never been higher as League Two brings a new level of intensity and the Club continues to be plagued with injury and setbacks. Season four of Prime Video’s twisted superhero series The Boys is set to premiere on June 13, 2024 with the unveiling of the first three episodes. But the streamer isn’t waiting to see how it’s received. Today, Prime Video announced they’ve renewed the series for a fifth season.

The Boys is an unabashed and bold series that continues captivating our customers all over the world by piercing the cultural fabric season after season,” stated said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. “We are proud of this series that has grown into a global franchise, and we are thrilled that Eric Kripke and the creative team have more engaging stories to tell for all the loyal fans.”

The eight-episode fourth season will wrap up on July 18, 2024.

The Boys could be the best job I’ll ever have. What other show allows me to write about politics, capitalism, family, and exploding genitalia, though not in that order,” said Eric Kripke, showrunner. “The cast and crew are deeply grateful to Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios for the opportunity to tell this story for another season. My only problem is that since this year promises to be free of any conflict or misinformation, we’re not sure what to write about.”

Returning series stars include Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie Campbell, Antony Starr as Homelander, Erin Moriarty as Starlight, Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, and Chace Crawford as The Deep. Tomer Capone is Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara is Kimiko, Colby Minifie is Ashley, Claudia Doumit is Victoria Neuman, and Cameron Crovetti plays Ryan.

Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan joined the cast for the upcoming fourth season.

The series is based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s bestselling comic. Eric Kripke developed the show and serves as executive producer and showrunner. Additional executive producers include Ennis, Robertson, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, and Pavun Shetty. Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn, Judalina Neira, Ken F. Levin, and Jason Netter also executive produce.

The Boys is produced by Sony Pictures Television, Amazon MGM Studios with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.

“In Season Four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as The Boys’ leader,” reads Prime Video’s synopsis. “The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”
