Two CIA agents (Tom Hardy and Chris Evans) discover they’re dating the same woman (Reese Witherspoon) in This Means War, an action movie/romantic comedy from director McG (Terminator Salvation). And in the first trailer for the 2012 release, the men use every resource they can get their hands on (drones, high-powered weapons, eavesdropping devices) to try to best the other in the battle to see who can knock who out of the dating game and be the last man standing.

The first trailer shows off a lot of action, most of which is pretty over-the-top. Check it out and see what you think:
E! True Hollywood Story: Casey Anthony is set to air on October 19th at 10pm featuring interviews with Anthony’s former friends and former boyfriends as well as the real Zenaida Gonzalez (the poor woman caught up in the murder case when Casey Anthony used her name to create the fictional ‘Zanny The Nanny’ ). The special will also include interviews with Anthony’s former defense attorneys and journalists who covered the case.
The special aims to answer the question of just who is Casey Anthony. Anthony was accused of murdering her daughter, Caylee, but was found not guilty by a jury which led to a public outcry over the controversial verdict and threats of violence against Anthony and the jurors.
Quotes from the upcoming E! THS special:
“If you wanted to hang out [or] go party she was always down.” – Brandon Snow, Anthony’s former boyfriend
“Casey was very smart and very popular. She was someone that everyone pretty much kind of knew.” – Angel Rivera, Former Classmate of Anthony’s
“You follow someone around, let’s say 24/7, and then you only play one or two hours of their most difficult time, that does not define who that individual is. That was an unfair portrayal of her.” Dorothy Clay Sims, Defense Attorney for Anthony
“She didn’t take off any clothes; she wasn’t up on the stage stripping or anything. It was just her you know, standing around and dancing in a blue dress” – Clint House, Anthony’s friend in response to the uproar over pictures of Anthony taking part in a “hot body contest” while her daughter was missing.
“It started going down like, ‘you’re a baby killer, you killed that baby.’ They were going to kidnap my daughters and see how I like [it] and then they started saying that they [were] going to kill them and they [were] going to send them to me in pieces in a box to my house and yeah….I hate that part.” Zenaida Gonzalez, on the reaction of the public when they believed she was involved with the case.
“I think the priority should be figuring out what really happened because that’s the only way that Caylee will ever get justice. It’s not seeing [Casey] behind bars and it’s not seeing her out of jail. It’s knowing what happened and the truth.” – Michelle Bart, Former Spokesperson, George and Cindy Anthony
If you’ve been afraid of becoming too attached to either The Secret Circle or Hart of Dixie because of the chance one or both of the new CW shows will be canceled before given a shot at winning over fans, then you’ll be happy with this bit of news. The CW has officially ordered nine more episodes of both Hart of Dixie and The Secret Circle.
The orders follow hot on the heels of the news of the network’s pickup of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Ringer.
The CW President Mark Pedowitz stated, “We believe in the creative strength of these dramas, and by giving them back nine orders, we can give our audience the chance to enjoy complete seasons of all three [including Ringer] of them. With compelling storylines, engaging characters, and tremendous buzz, we firmly believe that Hart Of Dixie, Ringer and The Secret Circle can become signature series for The CW, the kind of top-notch shows that are synonymous with our brand.”
Hart of Dixie debuted on September 26 and stars Rachel Bilson and Jaime King. The Secret Circle with Britt Robertson and Thomas Dekker debuted on September 15, 2011 and airs immediately following The Vampire Diaries.
In support of the October 14, 2011 release of the competitive bird-watching comedy film The Big Year, Audubon has released a ‘Birding the Net’ campaign which involves birds showing up on different websites unexpectedly and surprising visitors.
President & CEO of Audubon David Yarnold explains the campaign: “Birds are the best possible ambassadors for the environment, and this will help people see them in a whole new way. This is about fun – but it’s also about getting more people involved in taking action to protect birds and the planet we share with them. And with this unprecedented use of social media and the web, we’re also making it clear that this is not your grandmother’s Audubon.”
In order to play the Birding the Net game, you have to visit Audubon’s Facebook site – facebook.com/NationalAudubonSociety. The contest runs through November 7, 2011 with the grand prize winner receiving a voyage for two to the Galapagos. Additional prizes include Canon cameras, Nikon binoculars, gift cards to Woolrich, and downloads of the Audubon Birds – A Field Guide to North American Birds mobile app from Green Mountain Digital. Per Audubon, all 200 winners also receive a one-year membership to Audubon.
For hints on playing, follow @AudubonSociety< or "spokesbirds" @FloridaScrubJay and @RufHummingbird.
How the Birding the Net Contest Works:
“In The Big Year, characters compete to see the most North American birds in one year. Birding the Net brings to the Internet the thrill of the chase found in real-world birding, challenging players to spot dozens of species released Oct. 10 through Nov. 7. Web surfers can observe virtual birds doing the same things that birds do outdoors: animations of birds fly across homepages, perch on mastheads, and flock to birdhouses that anyone can install on personal websites and blogs.
Clicking on the animated birds takes players to an Audubon Facebook page to collect and trade “bird cards” which feature recordings of birdsongs, bird facts, and video. The first players to collect all the birds will win prizes, including a Lindblad Expeditions cruise among the Galapagos Islands.”
