A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future, where the sport of boxing has gone hi-tech, Real Steel stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

After being passed over for Rosenbaum, Flajnik was rumored to be dating Jennifer Love Hewitt (a tweet she sent saying she would accept Flajnik’s rose actually started the rumor) . Hewitt denied there was anything between the two in an interview with Ryan Seacrest shortly after Life & Style reported she flew to San Francisco for a date with Flajnik. Hewitt said they met “by coincidence” and that “rumors are rumors!”

Our Idiot Brother hits theaters on August 26, 2011 with Paul Rudd starring as the idiot brother referenced in the film’s title. And while it might be an eye-catching title, it doesn’t really describe Rudd’s character, Ned, in the R-rated comedy.
Ned’s not dumb, he just walks to the beat of a different drummer. In this interview with Paul Rudd, courtesy of The Weinstein Company, the film’s star talks about his character’s personality, the appeal of playing Ned, his wardrobe and appearance in the film, and reuniting with his The Chateau director Jesse Peretz on Our Idiot Brother.
The Plot: Every family has one: the sibling who is always just a little bit behind the curve when it comes to getting his life together. For sisters Liz (Emily Mortimer), Miranda (Elizabeth Banks) and Natalie (Zooey Deschanel), that person is their perennially upbeat brother Ned (Paul Rudd), an erstwhile organic farmer whose willingness to rely on the honesty of mankind is a less-than-optimum strategy for a tidy, trouble-free existence.
Ned may be utterly lacking in common sense, but he is their brother and so, after his girlfriend dumps him and boots him off the farm, his sisters once again come to his rescue. As Liz, Miranda and Natalie each take a turn at housing Ned, their brother’s unfailing commitment to honesty creates more than a few messes in their comfortable routines. But as each of their lives begins to unravel, Ned’s family comes to realize that maybe, in believing and trusting the people around him; Ned isn’t such an idiot after all.
