‘Tulsa King’ Season 3 Trailer: Dwight’s Ready to Expand His Empire

Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone returns to lead the drama as Dwight. The season three cast includes Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, and Chris Caldovino. Discovery Channel has released the following description of the new season:

‘Cold Storage’ Teaser Trailer Serves Up B-Movie Vibes

The sci-fi comedy Cold Storage has a North American distributor and a new teaser trailer. Samuel Goldwyn Films announced they’ve picked up the rights and are planning a 2026 theatrical release.

The teaser, which has a fun B-movie vibe, stars Joe Keery (Stranger Things), Georgina Campbell (Barbarian), and Liam Neeson (Taken). Sosie Bacon (Smile), Vanessa Redgrave (Mission: Impossible), and Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread) also star.

“Teacake (Keery) and Naomi (Campbell), two young employees of a self-storage company built on the site of an old US military base, have their wildest night shift ever when a parasitic fungus escapes from the lowest sublevel of the base, where it was sealed by the government decades before,” reads Samuel Goldwyn Pictures’ synopsis. “As the temperature rises underground, this highly contagious and rapidly mutating microorganism multiplies and unleashes its brain-controlling, body-bursting terrors on the facility’s inhabitants – human and otherwise.

With time running out, it’s down to Teacake and Naomi, with the help of a grizzled retired bioterror operative (Neeson), to contain the merciless menace and prevent the explosive extinction of mankind itself.”

Jonny Campbell (Dracula) directs, and David Koepp (Jurassic Park) adapted his novel for the screen. Koepp and Gavin Polone serve as producers.

“We’re happy to continue our relationship with Studiocanal and excited to be handling this thrilling movie from David Koepp, Jonny Campbell, and Gavin Polone,” stated SGF president Peter Goldwyn and CEO Ben Feingold, commenting on the acquisition.

Fox announced the 18 celebrities who will be participating on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season four. Among the 18 celebs are reality TV personalities, four former NFL players, a supermodel, an NBA champion, and a handful of actors.

Season four will premiere on September 25, 2025. New episodes air on Thursdays at 9pm ET/PT.

Fox offered this season four description: “This time around, the recruits will be training in Morocco and will endure the extreme circumstances of urban warfare. New this season, some recruits will arrive in pairs consisting of spouses and family members but will compete individually. All recruits must learn the art of getting comfortable with being uncomfortable as they are faced with training challenges across the country’s expansive desert terrain, including a supply search in an abandoned village where they must race to extraction, a treacherous rat-run through dark and narrow tunnels, a plane shell dunk drill where pairs of recruits will be submerged underwater and must escape, a death-defying urban ladder crossing between buildings 50 ft above the urban streets, and much more.

In this experiment, there are no votes and no eliminations – just survival. These celebrities, who are so used to being in the spotlight, will quickly learn the meaning of ‘no guts, no glory’ – and no glam.”

Directing Staff (DS) agents Rudy Reyes, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox, and Jovon “Q” Quarles will led the training exercises. Becky Clarke, Liam Humphreys, and Dave Sutton serve as executive producers.

‘Him’ Trailer: A Chilling Look at the Price of Greatness

Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions once again dives into the horror genre with Him, and the newly released trailer offers a glimpse into a terrifying journey where the pursuit of greatness comes at a sinister cost. Directed by Justin Tipping (Kicks), the film stars Marlon Wayans in a dramatic turn as a former superstar quarterback with ulterior motives for mentoring an up-and-coming QB.

Tyriq Withers (I Know What You Did Last Summer) stars as the quarterback who seeks help from his hero. The film also stars Julia Fox (Uncut Gems), Tim Heidecker (Us), Jim Jefferies (The Jim Jefferies Show), MMA heavyweight fighter Maurice Greene, Guapdad 4000, and Grammy nominee Tierra Whack.

Him stars former college wide receiver Tyriq Withers as Cameron Cade, a rising-star quarterback who has devoted his life, and identity, to football. On the eve of professional football’s annual scouting Combine, Cam is attacked by an unhinged fan and suffers a potentially career-ending brain trauma,” reads Universal Pictures’ synopsis. “Just when all seems lost, Cam receives a lifeline when his hero, Isaiah White (Wayans), a legendary eight-time Championship quarterback and cultural megastar, offers to train Cam at Isaiah’s isolated compound that he shares with his celebrity influencer wife, Elsie White (Fox). But as Cam’s training accelerates, Isaiah’s charisma begins to curdle into something darker, sending his protégé down a disorienting rabbit hole that may cost him more than he ever bargained for.”

Zack Akers, Skip Bronkie, and Justin Tipping wrote the screenplay, and Ian Cooper, Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfeld, and Jamal M. Watson served as producers. David Kern and Kate Oh are the executive producers.

Him will open in theaters on September 19, 2025.

Additional returning series stars include Jon Pointing (Big Boys), Jeremy Swift (Ted Lasso), Leah Harvey (Foundation), Ingrid Oliver (Thursday Murder Club), Nitin Ganatra (Sexy Beast), and Alexandra Dowling (Game of Thrones).

“We are thrilled that Sweetpea and the world of Carnsham are back in full swing for season two, with new and exciting characters for what promises to be an intoxicating ride for Rhiannon as she continues on her murderous journey,” commented executive producers Ella Purnell, Ella Jones, and Patrick Walters. “This season, the stakes are even higher, and as the consequences of her actions begin to close in, questions of morality and justice will come into play.”

Newcomers include Rish Shah as Rhiannon’s romantic interest, Gabriel; Tamsin Greig as AJ’s mother, Liv; Taj Atwal as Freya, Rhiannon’s formidable new boss at the Carnsham Gazette; and Jenny Walser as an adoring new friend, Daisy.

“Killer wallflower Rhiannon Lewis is back in season two of the iconically brazen and darkly comic thriller. Navigating a new promotion, an irresistible rebound, Marina still hot on her trail, her sister selling her family home and a copycat killer threatening to expose her, the kill list is mounting,” reads Starz and Sky’s synopsis. “But now that she’s harnessed her rage and found her power, Rhiannon is forced to question whether her perfect ex AJ, was right: is she a monster?”

The series is produced by See-Saw Films and fanboy in association with Sky Studios. Zorana Piggott (Heartstopper) serves as a producer.

‘Freakier Friday’ Review: Twice the Body Swapping, Not Quite as Much Fun

Freakier Friday Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan

There’s a school of thought going around that Hollywood is out of original ideas. And although there are fresh and exciting movies being made (particularly on the indie front), it’s hard to argue against the theory, since many big studio films are either sequels or remakes. Or, as in the case of Freakier Friday, a sequel to a remake.

Freakier Friday is, as one would suspect, a sequel to the 2003 romp Freaky Friday, which itself was a remake of a 1976 movie of the same name. Taking place some 20 or so years after the events of the last movie, this one sees Anna Coleman (Lindsay Lohan reprising her role from Freaky Friday) with a teenage daughter of her own named Harper (Julia Butters from Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood). Anna also has a fiancé named Eric (Top Gun: Maverick’s Manny Jacinto) who himself has a daughter named Lily (Up Here’s Sophia Hammons). The aches and pains of merging two families into one is a lot to take, and Anna’s therapist mother, Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis, also back from Freaky Friday) is along for the ride as well.

Sounds like these characters need to walk a mile in each other’s shoes, doesn’t it? And, in that Freaky Friday tradition, they do. Except this time, there are two sets of switch-a-roos. Anna and Harper swap bodies, and Tess and Lily do, too. So, the young girls get a taste of different stages of adulthood, and the adults get to be young again.

Freakier Friday was directed by Nisha Ganatra (The High Note) from a screenplay by Jordon Weiss (Dollface) and Elyse Hollander (her first produced feature), and as expected, it’s twice the body-swapping antics of Freaky Friday. And while this is fun, it’s all just recycled fun. It’s a lot of the same gags from before, just with different characters. The teens grapple with being grown up, and the older women enjoy their ache-free, high-metabolism bodies.

The issue with twice the body-swapping antics is that Freakier Friday gets a bit convoluted. Of course, each character has their own motivation for what they plan and do, so the narrative gets a bit messy at times. The body swapping is a simple concept, but with too many participants, it needlessly complicates itself. And that’s not even considering that one has to keep track of who is in whose body, which is, in the beginning of the transformations, a bit tricky. It’s too much plotting for a silly comedy.

For what it’s worth, the four actors do wonderful things with their characters’ transformations, particularly Julia Butters and Jamie Lee Curtis. Butters nails Lohan’s mannerisms perfectly, so it really does seem as if she is channeling her on-screen mother. And Curtis is nothing short of hilarious – she seems to be having a ton of fun being Lily, and that fun is infectiously passed on to the audience. That’s where Freakier Friday is at its best – when the girls are having fun being each other. And the performances save the film.

Even though things get a little muddy in places, Freakier Friday does have a blast with its nostalgia. Looking in on these colorful characters 20 years later and seeing what they’ve done with themselves is a movie in itself, even without the transformation angle. And poor Anna – she’s had to experience the freakiness as a teen back then and as a parent now. While not imperative, watching Freaky Friday before watching Freakier Friday is helpful as a refresher, because there are a lot of cool callbacks and references that won’t be as effective if the viewer goes in completely cold.

So, if you can follow along, Freakier Friday is a fun enough little romp. It rehashes a lot of its predecessor, but that’s to be expected. It delivers on laughs, and sometimes, that’s all a movie fan needs or wants. Think about it just enough to keep up and then enjoy the ride. Just don’t expect to think too much about it when the lights come up, either.
