The new trailer for Disney+’s Andor perfectly captures the tone and visuals of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The series is set before Rogue One and stars Diego Luna reprising his role as Cassian Andor.
The new trailer was accompanied by a gorgeous poster and new photos from the latest addition to the Star Wars franchise.
Joining Diego Luna are Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, and Adria Arjona. Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Fiona Shaw also star. Tony Gilroy created the series and serves as showrunner and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna, and Michelle Rejwan.
Lucasfilm’s Andor consists of 12 episodes and will premiere on September 21, 2022 with the launch of the first three episodes. New episodes will arrive on Disney+ on subsequent Wednesdays.
The Plot: The Andor series explores a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
