Apple TV launched the official teaser for Neuromancer during the streamer’s Hall H panel at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con. The one-minute teaser’s got book fans talking in the YouTube comments, debating the adaptation while applauding the fact that 42 years after William Gibson’s award-winning novel was published, someone’s finally delivering a series adaptation.
The 10-episode series stars Callum Turner as Case, Briana Middleton as Molly, Mark Strong as Armitage, Peter Sarsgaard as John Ashpool, Clémence Poésy as Marie-France Tessier, and Joseph Lee as Hideo. The cast also includes Max Irons, Dane DeHaan, Junia Rees, Jordan Kouamé, Emma Laird, Marc Menchaca, André De Shields, and Isabella Pappas.
Apple TV’s releasing the first two episodes on January 22, 2027, followed by new episodes on Fridays.
Per Apple TV: “Neuromancer follows a damaged, top-rung super-hacker named Case (Turner) who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high-stakes crime with his partner Molly (Middleton), a razor-girl assassin, to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets.”
Graham Roland and JD Dillard created the series, and Roland serves as showrunner. Dillard directed the first three episodes and executive produces along with Roland, William Gibson, Jennifer Haley, and Anonymous Content’s David Levine, Garrett Kemble, and Zack Hayden. DreamCrew Entertainment’s Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham, Adel ‘Future’ Nur and Jason Shrier also executive produce.
