‘Chucky’ Season 3 and ‘SurrealEstate’ Season 2 Score October 4 Premiere Date

Chucky the killer doll returns for season three and Wynonna Earp star Tim Rozon is back helping with haunted real estate on season two of SurrealEstate on October 4, 2023. USA/Syfy will kick off new seasons of both shows on Wednesday, October 4th, with Chucky airing at 9pm ET/PT on USA/Syfy followed by SurrealEstate at 10pm Syfy.

The premiere date announcement was accompanied by the first SurrealEstate season two trailer and a special Chucky press conference video.

The popular series based on the Child’s Play film franchise stars Zackary Arthur (Transparent) as Jake Wheeler, Björgvin Arnarson (PEN15) as Devon Evans, and Alyvia Alyn Lind (Daybreak) as Lexy. Brad Dourif provides the voice of Chucky, and Jennifer Tilly is Tiffany Valentine.

As for Devon Sawa, Chucky did not confirm nor deny that Sawa may return for the new season as a new character. When asked during his press conference if Sawa’s back, Chucky replied, “Who?”

Syfy offers this description of the new season:

“In the TV series, Chucky crosses paths with archenemies, old allies, and new prey as he seeks to inspire fear and mayhem wherever he goes. After his diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was foiled in Season 1, Chucky now seeks revenge on those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake (Arthur), Devon (Arnarson) and Lexy (Lind), along with his ex Tiffany, now his sworn enemy.

After having escaped their new Catholic school, can ‘Jevon’ keep their relationship alive and best Chucky once and for all — this time in the nation’s capitol?”

Tim Rozon reprises his role as Luke Roman and Sarah Levy (Schitt’s Creek) returns as Susan Ireland in season two of SurrealEstate. Adam Korson (The Stairs) is back as Father Phil Orley,
Maurice Dean Wint (Diggstown) plays August Ripley, Savannah Basley returns as Zooey L’Enfant, and Tennille Read (Workin’ Moms) reprises her role as Megan Donovan.

Syfy had originally indicated SurrealEstate would be done after just one season. Showrunner George R. Olson even tweeted about its demise in October 2021. Fans were then pleasantly surprised to see the series listed on Syfy’s 2022-2023 calendar, released back in May 2022.

Per Syfy: “SurrealEstate follows real estate agent Luke Roman and an elite team of specialists that handle the cases no one else can: haunted and possessed houses that literally scare would-be buyers away. Researching, investigating and ‘fixing’ the things that go bump in the night, the team works to create closure – and closings – even as they struggle with demons of their own.”
