Emmy winner Edie Falco will star in Katie Greaves (the current working title) for Fox. The network describes the series as a legal drama and is targeting a 2027-2028 primetime season premiere.
Falco recently appeared in season two of Fox’s Doc and the fourth season of Paramount+’s Mayor of Kingstown. Falco has won four Emmys for her work in The Sopranos and Nurse Jackie, along with five Screen Actors Guild awards.
Fox offers this description of the new drama: “Falco stars as Katie Greaves, a whip-smart, fiercely committed attorney who stepped away from the New Hampshire Public Defender’s office following a devastating personal tragedy. Now raising her two young granddaughters with her husband and trying to piece together a life she never expected, Katie is drawn back to the work that once defined her. Each case tests Katie’s instincts, wit, and deeply held belief that everyone deserves a second chance…and someone to fight for them.”
Sharr White (Presumed Innocent, Palm Royale) created the series and servers as writer, executive producer, and showrunner. Falco and Scott Free Productions’ Ridley Scott and David W. Zucker are the executive producers.
