AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead will kick off the second half of season four on August 12, 2018. In support of the upcoming return of the zombie apocalypse series, AMC debuted a new full trailer during the series’ panel at the San Diego Comic Con.

Redemption. Reunion. Refreshment.

The new three and a half minute trailer shows the survivors are going to be battling Mother Nature as well as the walking dead. When the show returns, the main cast will include Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace, and Jenna Elfman.

AMC revealed during the San Diego Comic Con that the second part of season four will also feature new cast members Aaron Stanford (who just finished up four seasons of starring in 12 Monkeys), Stephen Henderson (The Newsroom), Tonya Pinkins (The Book of Henry), Mo Collins (Parks and Recreation), and Daryl “Chill” Mitchell.

Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, Andrew Chambliss, Ian Goldberg, Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd, and Greg Nicotero. Chambliss and Goldberg are the season four showrunners.

The Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 Part 2 Plot: The first half of season four began with one figure huddled around a campfire, and ended with nine. Characters who started their journeys in isolation collided with each other in unexpected ways and found themselves in one of the last places they ever expected to be…together. In the back half of the season they will explore who they are now – as individuals and as part of the greater group – and how they will forge ahead.

They will find themselves pitted against new adversaries – human, walker, and even nature itself. Theirs will be a journey wrought with danger, love, heartbreak, loss, and ultimately, hope.
