Season five, episode two of CBS’s Fire Country is a Sheriff Country crossover, with Morena Baccarin and Ian Quinlan popping in as guest stars. Episode two, “Fire Under Fire,” will air on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 9pm ET/PT.
“Fire Under Fire” Plot: When a fast-moving wildfire threatens Edgewater, Station 42 and Three Rock battle increasingly dangerous conditions in an effort to contain the blaze. Meanwhile, as Bode works to connect with a newcomer carrying a complicated past, Sharon helps uncover a critical lead in an active investigation, setting the stage for unexpected consequences both on and off the fire line. David Gould wrote the episode and Eagle Egilsson directs.
Max Thieriot returns as Bode, Kevin Alejandro is back as Manny, Diane Farr stars as Sharon, Jordan Calloway returns as Jake, and Jules Latimer stars as Eve.

Max Thieriot stars as Bode Leone, a young convict seeking a shortened prison sentence by joining a prison release firefighting program in Northern California, where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires across the region. Now Bode walks as a free man as he continues his journey toward redemption in his small hometown with Cal Fire.
