Netflix’s popular Is It Cake? baking competition series returns with a second season centered on the spookiest time of the year. The Halloween edition, made up of three episodes, premieres on October 9, 2026, with Mikey Day (SNL) returning as host.
This season, nine celebrity judges will attempt to figure out the real item from a cake—which is always much more difficult than it sounds. The judges for episode one are Bianca Belair, Blippi, and Lil Rel Howery, while episode two features Hunter Doohan, Isaac Ordonez, and Joy Sunday. The finale’s judges are Cedric Yarbrough, Kristen Schaal, and Paul Scheer.
“Is It Cake? Halloween rises from the grave with Mikey Day and six wickedly talented hyper-realistic cake artists! These creeptacular bakers push their skills to the limit, creating the largest, spookiest cakes designed to trick celebrity judges,” reads Netflix’s synopsis. “With a huge cash prize and the title of Is It Cake? Halloween Champion on the line, the stakes have never been higher. Who will survive this deliciously deadly showdown?”
The talented bakers attempting to trick the judges include Bonne Bedingfield, Corinna Maguire, Frankie Velez, Mike Elder, Rodolfo Goncalves, and Tiphani Anderson.
