Fox’s MasterChef kicked off season 13 on May 24, 2023 and after a series of regional competitions, the 20 home cooks earning their white aprons have finally been revealed. This season’s 20 finalists represent four specific regions of the U.S. – the Northeast, the Midwest, the West, and the South.
Gordon Ramsay, chef Aarón Sánchez, and restaurateur Joe Bastianich judge this season’s talented cooks as they compete for the $250,000 cash grand prize and the America’s MasterChef title. The 20 home cooks who’ve made the cut will be testing their skills in Mystery Box challenges, fixing a meal at Dodger Stadium, and participating in a special State Fair challenge.
Season 13 guest judges include MasterChef Junior judge Daphne Oz, former MasterChef judge Graham Elliot, James Beard Award nominee Susan Feniger, James Beard Award nominee Tiffany Derry, Chef Andre Rush, and season 11 winner Kelsey Murphy.
