‘Mayfair Witches’ Season 2 Episode 1 Preview: Photos, “Lasher” Plot and Cast

AMC’s Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches finally returns after a two year break with season two episode one, “Lasher.” Directed by Colin Bucksey from a script by Esta Spalding, episode two will air on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 9pm ET/PT.

Alexandra Daddario leads the cast as Rowan Fielding, Jack Huston stars as Lasher, Tongayi Chirisa plays Ciprien Grieve, Harry Hamlin is Cortland Mayfair, and Alyssa Jirrels stars as Moira Mayfair. Ben Feldman, Ted Levine, and Thora Birch also star.

“Lasher” Plot: Rowan Mayfair is determined to understand what Lasher has become. Sip is hell-bent on capturing him.

Based on Anne Rice’s Lives of the Mayfair Witches, season two of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches continues the journey of Rowan Mayfair (Daddario) after she has unwittingly given birth to the demon Lasher (Huston). She is determined to understand what he has become – human or monster? – and to use him to fulfill her purpose as a healer, but when tragedy strikes, she must put aside her own desires and fight to protect her family.
