‘Rescue: HI-Surf’ Episode 8 Preview – Photos, “Drop In” Promo, and Cast

The promo for Fox’s Rescue: HI-Surf episode eight offers a tease of what’s possibly to come for Em and Will. Episode eight, “Drop In,” will air on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT.

The one-hour drama stars Robbie Magasiva (Wentworth) as Harlan “Sonny” Jennings, Arielle Kebbel (Midnight, Texas) as Emily “Em” Wright, Adam Demos (Sex / Life) as Will Ready, Kekoa Kekumano (The White Lotus, Aquaman) as Laka Hanohano, Alex Aiono (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin) as Kainalu Emerson, and Zoe Cipres (Roswell, New Mexico) as Hina Alexander. Sea Shimooka (3 Body Problem), Shawn Hatosy (Animal Kingdom), and Ian Anthony Dale (The Resident) guest star in recurring roles.

“Drop In” Plot: Sonny, Em, Will and Laka race to the beach to find missing paragliders that plummeted into the ocean by a violent down draft. Kainalu invites Hina to a party with his ex-girlfriend and pretentious high school friends. Jenn doesn’t think Laka is serious enough for her, and Em and Will face temptation of rekindling their past romance. Meanwhile, Sonny secretly puts in his notice to retire and recommends Em as his replacement.
