The CW’s Riverdale returns from its midseason break with season two episode 10 airing on January 17, 2018. The new episode titled “The Blackboard Jungle” was directed by Tim Hunter from a script by Britta Lundin and Brian E. Paterson.
The season two cast includes KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Marisol Nichols as Hermione Lodge, Mӓdchen Amick as Alice Cooper, Luke Perry as Fred Andrews, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Mark Consuelos as Hiram Lodge, and Skeet Ulrich as FP Jones.
The “Chapter Twenty-Three: The Blackboard Jungle” Plot: NEW YEAR, NEW DRAMA — Tensions mount when the sudden shut down of Southside High forces Jughead (Sprouse) and his fellow serpents to transfer to Riverdale High. Veronica (Mendes) ensures Hiram (Consuelos) and Hermoine (Nichols) that she’s still on board with their plans for SoDale. Archie (Apa) is conflicted when he is asked to gather some information on Hiram’s suspicious business dealings. Betty (Reinhart) sets out on a quest to find her long-lost brother, Chic (guest star Hart Denton).
