The CW’s Riverdale season two episode three focused on Archie’s obsessive hunt for the hooded killer. Although there was time for Archie to sort of relax at a sit down dinner with Veronica’s mom and dad, he basically spent all of his free time organizing a vigilante group to patrol the streets of Riverdale and investigate any suspicious activity. The season – and the hunt for the killer – continues with episode four titled “Chapter Seventeen: The Town That Dreaded Sundown.” Directed by Allison Anders from a script by Amanda Lasher, episode four will air on November 1, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT.
The season two cast includes KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom, Marisol Nichols as Hermione Lodge, Mӓdchen Amick as Alice Cooper, Luke Perry as Fred Andrews, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, and Mark Consuelos as Hiram Lodge.
The “Chapter Seventeen: The Town That Dreaded Sundown” Plot: TERROR IN RIVERDALE – When Archie’s (Apa) attempt to take matters into his own hands spirals out of control, Mayor McCoy (guest star Robin Givens) calls an emergency town hall meeting to deal with the growing chaos in Riverdale. Meanwhile, when Betty (Reinhart) finds herself at the center of a deepening mystery, her decision to keep some parts of it from Jughead (Sprouse) causes further friction between the two. Elsewhere, Veronica (Mendes) grows concerned for Archie when she realizes the lengths he would go to seek revenge against the person terrorizing Riverdale. Finally, tensions between the North and Southside finally come to a head and leads to an unexpected showdown.
