‘Santa Clarita Diet’ Season 3 Premiere Date: Is Joel Becoming a Zombie?

After an agonizing wait, Netflix has finally announced the premiere date for the third season of Santa Clarita Diet. The premiere date announcement was accompanied by a video of episode clips edited into wedding vows. The significant changes: Sheila Hammond (Drew Barrymore) adds “and snap off his jaw and feed him his balls” after Joel Hammond (Timothy Olyphant) utters “to love and to cherish.” She then suggests they’ll be together for the next thousand years or so to which Joel can only reply, “Wow.”

Season three of the zombie-loving comedy will premiere on Friday, March 29, 2019.

The Santa Clarita Diet Plot:

In Santa Clarita Diet, Joel (Olyphant) and Sheila (Barrymore) are husband and wife realtors leading vaguely discontented lives in the L.A. suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenaged daughter Abby (Hewson), until Sheila goes through a dramatic change sending their lives down a road of death and destruction…but in a good way.
