Freeform’s Siren hosts a two-hour event of back-to-back episodes on Thursday, June 27, 2019. First up is season two episode 11 – “Mixed Signals” – airing at 8pm ET/PT. Episode 12 – “Serenity” – airs immediately following it at 9pm.

Season two’s cast is led by Eline Powell (Game of Thrones) as Ryn. Alex Roe (The 5th Wave) plays Ben, Fola Evans-Akingbola (An American Exorcism) is Maddie, Ian Verdun (Life’s a Drag) stars as Xander, and Rena Owen (Star Wars Episodes II and III) is Helen.

The series is based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White. Wald, White, Brad Luff, Nate Hopper, RD Robb, and Emily Whitesell are the executive producers. Whitesell also serves as showrunner.

The “Serenity” Plot: Ryn goes back to the ocean to get help for Ben and Maddie’s conditions but discovers that continuing to go back may get harder than she realized the longer she’s on land. But when they learn that there may be a special place in Ryn’s homeland that could help them, Ben, Maddie and Ryn must all venture under the sea together to find the cure. Meanwhile, Helen and Ted connect over their shared family histories.

The Siren Plot, Courtesy of Freeform:

Siren takes us inside Bristol Cove — a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean.”
