The December 14, 2013 episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by John Goodman kicked off with President Obama (Jay Pharoah) apologizing for his selfie at Nelson Mandela’s funeral and his handshake with Raul Castro, blaming the controversial actions on ‘a series of unfortunate events.’ And as the President explained what really happened, the fake sign language interpreter (Kenan Thompson) gestured behind his back.
