‘Still Up’ Series Preview: Photos, Cast, Plot and Premiere Date

Apple TV+ has set a Friday, September 22, 2023 premiere date for Still Up, an Apple Original series that’s described as an “almost romantic comedy.” The premiere date announcement was accompanied by the first two photos from the upcoming season.

The eight-episode season will kick off with the release of the first three episodes on September 22nd, followed by new episodes on Fridays. Season one wraps up on October 27th.

Antonia Thomas (The Good Doctor) and Craig Roberts (Red Oaks) lead a cast that includes Blake Harrison, Lois Chimimba, Luke Fetherston, and Samantha Spiro. Steve Burge (Seekers) and Natalie Walter created the comedy and serve as writers along with Bryce Hart (Ten Percent). John Addis, a BAFTA Film Award Best British Short Film nominee for Lucky Break, directed the series.

Still Up focuses on the after-hours world of insomniacs Danny (Roberts) and Lisa (Thomas). Apple TV+’s description teases Danny and Lisa “have no secrets except their feelings for each other.”
