‘Supernatural’ Season 13 Episode 8 Preview: Photos from “The Scorpion and the Frog”

The CW’s Supernatural season 13 episode seven found Lucifer back on earth but with diminished powers, thanks to Michael. Lucifer’s still scary enough to force angels who are fighting Castiel to flee. It appears Lucifer’s ready to team up with Castiel, since they both care about Jack, after Lucifer learns Jack is missing. Unfortunately, Asmodeus grabs the pair before they can do any real hunting for Jack.

Meanwhile, Sam and Dean work on a witch killing case and have a run-in with Arthur Ketch who has disguised himself as his twin brother, Alexander. Arthur/Alexander’s given up on the British Men of Letters and is searching for Rowena who has a charm that will bring him back to life. The charm needs to be recharged or else he’ll really die next time someone kills him.

Up next, season 13 episode eight titled “The Scorpion and the Frog” and airing November 30, 2017. Robert Singer directs from a script by Meredith Glynn. The season 13 cast includes Jensen Ackles as Dean, Jared Padalecki as Sam, Misha Collins as Castiel, Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer, Alexander Calvert as Jack, and Samantha Smith as Mary Winchester.


“The Scorpion and the Frog” Plot: THE BIG HEIST – Feeling as if they are running out of options, Sam (Padalecki) and Dean (Ackles) agree to steal a mysterious trunk belonging to a demon named Barthamus (guest star David Cubitt), in exchange for a locater spell the Winchesters can use to track down Jack.

The Season 13 Plot: The exciting journey of the Winchester brothers continues as Supernatural enters its thirteenth season. Sam and Dean have encountered every kind of supernatural threat, facing down monsters, demons, and gods. Saving people, hunting things, and keeping the world safe. In the show’s twelfth season, the Winchesters were reunited with their long-dead mother, and joined forces with the British arm of the Men of Letters. But things turned from bad to worse, with the return of Lucifer and the surprising revelation that the Devil is expecting a child. Now, Sam and Dean find themselves facing a creature of almost unimaginable power… one that could save the world… or destroy it.
