Sam and Dean continued their search for the missing nephilim, Jack, in The CW’s Supernatural season 13 episode eight. Fortunately for the bros, Bart the crossroads demon claimed to be a fan of theirs and offered up half a spell that could lead them to Jack. In order to obtain the other half, Bart made the Winchesters help him break into a house belonging to Luther Shrike – a murderer who hoards supernatural items – to retrieve an item he needed.
The task wasn’t simple and of course it didn’t go the way they planned. By the end of the episode Luther literally lost his head, the conniving Bart was dead, and unfortunately the Winchesters were no closer to finding Jack. However, Sam was surprisingly optimistic about the odds of locating Jack sometime soon.
