Netflix’s Emmy Award-winning series The Crown will come to a close with the upcoming release of season six part two. The final episodes of the series will introduce Ed McVey in the role of Prince William, Meg Bellamy as Kate Middleton, and Luther Ford taking on the role of Prince Harry.

The newcomers join returning series stars Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, and Dominic West as Prince Charles. Claudia Harrison is Princess Anne, Olivia Williams stars as Camilla Parker Bowles, and Bertie Carvel is Tony Blair.

“Prince William (McVey) tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother’s death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion,” reads Netflix’s synopsis. “As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen (Staunton) reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles (West) and Camilla (Williams) and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate (Bellamy).”

Part one premiered on November 16, 2023 and racked up 11.1 million views over its first three days streaming. Part two’s six episodes will debut on December 14.

Peter Morgan created the critically acclaimed drama and serves as writer and executive producers. Additional executive producers include Suzanne Mackie, Andy Harries, Stephen Daldry, Matthew Byam Shaw, and Robert Fox.
