The CW’s The Flash season five premiered on October 9, 2018 with an episode that brought Barry and Iris’ daughter, Nora, onto Team Flash. Nora traveled from the future to spend some time with her dad who, it turns out, will eventually go missing shortly after her birth. After discovering the true reason for his time-traveling speedster daughter’s appearance, Barry decided to let her stick around for a while in hopes of figuring out why he’s disappeared in the future.
Season five continues with episode two titled “Blocked” and airing on October 16, 2018. Season five episode two was directed by Kim Miles from a script by Eric Wallace and Judalina Neira.
The Flash season five cast includes Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco, Candice Patton as Iris West, and Jesse L Martin as Joe West. The cast also includes Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny, Jessica Parker Kennedy as Nora West-Allen, and Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton.
The “Blocked” Plot: CHRIS KLEIN JOINS “THE FLASH” — As Barry (Gustin) helps his daughter, Nora (Parker Kennedy), become a better speedster, he and Team Flash also track down a meta stealing high-tech weapons, only to cross paths with a new foe named Cicada (Chris Klein), who is hunting the very same meta with nefarious intent.
