‘The Irrational’ Episode 2 Preview: Photos, Cast, and “Dead Woman Walking” Plot

Episode one of NBC’s The Irrational introduced Jesse L. Martin as a behavioral science professor who assists law enforcement on interesting/baffling cases. Episode two, “Dead Woman Walking,” finds the professor sniffing out clues regarding a poisoning.

“Dead Woman Walking” will air on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT.

Jesse L. Martin stars as Alec Mercer, Maahra Hill is Marisa, Travina Springer is Kylie, Molly Kunz is Phoebe, and Arash DeMaxi is Rizwan. Executive producers include Arika Lisanne Mittman, Mark Goffman, Sam Baum, and David Frankel.

“Dead Woman Walking” Plot: Prof. Mercer is approached by old friend CJ, a prominent investigative journalist, who asks for his help after she’s poisoned with a rare and deadly nerve agent. With time running out, Mercer pieces together scant clues.
