Season four episode eight of The CW’s The Originals brings in a familiar face from Mystic Falls. Jam-packed episode seven, which even included the appearance of Davina’s skull, ended with Hope freeing her new best friend Marcel and Klaus even thanking him for keeping his young daughter safe. An uneasy alliance is once again formed, and it’s revealed at the end of the episode that they’ll need to take a trip to Mystic Falls to find the missing bones they need to fight the Hollow. Fortunately, Freya was able to track the bones’ guardians to a werewolf pack. Unfortunately, Tyler Lockwood was the last living member of the pack.
Directed by John Hyams from a script by Talicia Raggs and Christopher Hollier, episode eight titled ‘Voodoo in My Blood’ airs on May 12, 2017. The cast of season four includes Joseph Morgan as Klaus, Charles Michael Davis as Marcel, Daniel Gillies as Elijah, Phoebe Tonkin as Hayley, Yusuf Gatewood as Vincent, Riley Voelkel as Freya, Summer Fontana as Hope, Christina Moses as Keelin, and Taylor Cole as Sofya. Season four episode eight will feature The Vampire Diaries‘ Matt Davis (‘Alaric’).
The “Voodoo In My Blood” Plot: THE VAMPIRE DIARIES’ MATT DAVIS GUEST STARS – After being summoned by the ancestors, Hayley (Tonkin) and Klaus (Morgan) travel to the ancestral world and come face to face with Davina (guest star Danielle Campbell), Klaus’ former foe and the one person who holds the secrets to The Hollow’s demise. Meanwhile, old wounds are re-opened when Elijah (Gillies) and Marcel (Davis) are forced into an uneasy alliance. Together, they meet with Alaric (guest star Matt Davis) who has tracked down a crucial artifact that could help in their fight against The Hollow.
