The official teaser for HBO Max’s The Pitt showcases Robby’s return after taking time off for his mental health. The minute-long teaser also reveals the new emergency room shift will be just as chaotic as the first two seasons.
Noah Wyle stars as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, Patrick Ball returns as Dr. Langdon, Katherine LaNasa is back as Dana Evans, Fiona Dourif returns as Dr. McKay, and Taylor Dearden is back as Dr. King. The returning cast also includes Isa Briones as Dr. Santos, Gerran Howell as Dr. Whitaker, Shabana Azeez as Javadi, Ayesha Harris as Dr. Ellis, Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Al-Hashimi, and Shawn Hatosy as Dr. Abbot.
“The Pitt is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh,” reads HBO Max’s synopsis.
In addition to releasing the teaser trailer, HBO Max put out the first batch of photos from the upcoming season, which premieres in January 2027.
R. Scott Gemmill created the Emmy-winning series. Gemmill, along with Emmy winner John Wells, Noah Wyle, Michael Hissrich, Erin Jontow, Joe Sachs, Simran Baidwan, and Eli Attie, serve as executive producers. The Pitt is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
