Abby burned Enzo’s body to keep Bonnie safe, Stefan asked his brother if there’s a possibility of redemption for the Salvatore brothers, and Kai (Chris Wood) returned in The Vampire Diaries season eight episode 12. The show’s really in a groove this final season, capturing the fun of watching the early seasons of the supernatural series and it’s a shame there are only a few episodes left until it’s all over.

Episode 13 titled ‘The Lies Will Catch Up to You’ will air on February 17, 2017 and was directed by Tony Solomons from a script by Neil Reynolds. The cast of season eight includes Paul Wesley as Stefan, Ian Somerhalder as Damon, Kat Graham as Bonnie, Michael Malarkey as Enzo, Candice King as Caroline, Matt Davis as Alaric, and Zach Roerig as Matt.

‘The Lies Will Catch Up to You’ Plot: DEVIL IN THE PAST – Damon (Somerhalder) and Alaric (Davis) come face to face with an old enemy after they obtain a weapon that may be able to destroy Cade. Stefan (Paul Wesley) is held captive by a surprising acquaintance and is forced to confront a dark secret from his past. Meanwhile, Caroline (King) and Matt (Roerig) try to keep Stefan’s violent history from destroying him. Cade (guest star Wolé Parks) focuses his attention on Bonnie (Graham) and digs deep into her mind.
